Draft at the brewpub. Hazy yellow-gold color. Smells pretty good; grass, herbal hops, straw. Going down it’s crisp and refreshing, just as it should be. Bitter herbal hop flavor with notes of lemony citrus, wheat grain, grass, and straw. The body is velvety and light. Good stuff; a nice clean summer lager. hbmason (1086) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - FEB 17, 2012

On tap at flatbread. Pours yellow with minimal soapy head. Taste is lemony and hops. Honestly not much aroma. Not great. Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 13, 2009
A blonde kolsch with a thick creamy white head. A plesant catnip aroma, a bit lactic, very interesting. In mouth, a crisp malt with sustained mineral notes and German hopping. Medium bodied. Excellent kolsch. On tap at brewpub, Nov. 30 2008, with Sponge and Goldorak. hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - OCT 12, 2008
on tap at Flatbread listed as local kolsch. Almost clear golden in color. Aroma has honey, light fruit, earthy hops, lightly grainy. Taste is crisp, with light grainy pale malt sweetness, lightly doughy, earthy hops, mild citrus, honey, with a light bittering finish. Very nice.

Draft, delicate white head, lemon fragrance, clear golden tint. Refreshing describes this well. Complex, but lightly so. A perfect Kolsch. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - OCT 10, 2007
on tap-pours a retaining thin white head that laces. Aroma is musty grain, lemon, (saaz)hops. Taste is musty grain, lemon, (saaz)hops-some spicy. OK effervescence. Dead on for style. Occasional. notalush (5878) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 5, 2007
Tap at the brewpub - clear golden with a fiery orange tint to it - spicy hop aroma, with grassy notes and touches of dried herbs - refreshing and crisp, with a light buttery flavor, touches of wildflowers and honey, and a strong european hop bite - a complex and refreshing kolsch. muzzlehatch (4959) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 1, 2007
Draught sample at the brewpub, December 30th 2006. Pours a clear, rather oily gold with just a bit of head and lacing....nicely malty, lightly pungent, smelly-grassy aroma, light noble hops growing stronger with some warmth....crisp, full body, light Munich malt character, a bit mineralic and bitter to finish....as it warms, floral hints create a bit more interest, lavender and aloe most noticeable....really nicely done, very quaffable rendition.
