Draught half pint at American Flatbread in Burlington, VT (May 2008). Bright gold with just a touch of head that lasts as a creamy dollop, thick lacing....acerbic, pungent, really quite smelly nose -- resinous, cidery and reminiscent of a noisome weed patch (nettles?) but in a good way if you catch my meaning....bitter, earthy mineralic body, full and meaty....low natural carbonation, long zesty finish.

On tap at American Flatbread in Burlington, Vermont. Pours clear amber-orange with bright, sparkling glow, and with a spritz of white head and lacing. Aroma: faint brown sugar. Flavor: brown sugar, nuts, along with some white pepper. Mouthfeel: light- to medium-bodied, very soft on palette, slightly slick, yet still a bit too thin and watery. Drinks like a higher ABV.

[5317-20130429] Tap. Fresh lemony grains aroma. Clear, orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Orange lemon rind bitter grains flavour has a quick but sharp bite up front. Medium body. Tasty, pleasant bitter profile. (7/3/7~/3/14) 3.4

Cask and dry hop with Glacier: Poured a slightly hazy dark orangey color ale with a small bubbly head. Aroma of fruity hops with light dry caramel malt is simple but refreshing. Taste is dominated by fruity hops with some light dry caramel malt notes is very refreshing. Body is light with good carbonation for a cask. This is one of the better mix between low ABV and flavours that I have tasted in along time.

Clear golden color, small head, small lacing. Malt on nose, smooth caramel malt palate, short finish.

8 ounce sample on tap at the brewpub. Light sweet, toasted malt aroma. A little anise is also present. Not much else. Transparent copper body with a small, off-white head. Starts a little malty with toasted flavors. Becomes a little sweet in the middle. Finishes a little metallic and a bit spicy. Flavorful and sessionable. Could use a little more aroma, though.

2013-04-29. Crisp dark orange body small beige head. 3+ Aroma is mild, odd tangy malt character, mild hops. Flavour is a bit odd, tangy quality to it, pleasant orange hops, mineral undertones light bitterness. Average to light bodied palate, soft carbonation. Not to my tastes. On tap at American Flatbread, Burlington

Great goldings hop aroma, sweet biscuity malts, and good cereals. Pleasant pine finish, solid malts linger. This place is the place to be for incredibly flavorful low alcohol session ales.
