Pouring at NotF in Boston. Pours a lightly hazed golden amber with a thin tan head. Honey, wheat, soft yeast. Medium-bodied, soft musk into huge honey. Gets cloying really fast. Very sweet, too much sweetness and a touch metallic.

In short: A fun bretty blonde ale that starts very honey-sweet and ends very dry. Really good
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Cloudy orangy blond body topped by a small white head
In long: Nose is quite bretty and develops grapefruity and leathery notes. You can smell some of the honey but mostly the nose is dominated by the brett and its related esters. Taste has quite a bit of honey upfront but then as you swallow you get grapefruits and some apricots and then it ends in a dry bretty finish. Really enjoyable how this beer was alternatively sweet and dry with each sip. Full body and lively carbonation. I really liked this beer, Zero Gravity rarely goes off the beaten path but here they really tried something different and succeeded. That was my after-meal beer at Flatbread, and let me tell you that after a fantastic pizza and this superb beer I was feeling like a million bucks (one sixth of Steve Austin).

(Rating #3808)

Drank on tap (12 oz) at American Flatbread, on July 29, 2011. Honey golden hazy, small head. Aroma of malted barley with honey, alot of Brett and herbs. Taste of malt lemon and herbes, Brett is very present, bitter fruit. Very fun and good!
