In short: A very sweet, fruity and slightly spicy dark ale.Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 21, 2010
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear mahogany body topped by a beige ring of foam
In long: Nose of a freshly baked fruity cake. Taste is rather sweet (too sweet) with lots of residual sugars. Flavors of brownies, fruit cake, booze, spices. Nothing special here. I had a glass of this while eating a lot of pizzas in a brewpub immediately after a four hours tasting session at a beer festival. Yep. I’m not really enthusiastic about becoming a fat out-of-shape beer drinker but I’m even less enthusiastic about doing something about it.
A deep red copper bock with a thin off white head. Intense and smooth dark fruits aroma, fusel alcohol, wood extract and vanilla. In mouth, a silky oil bock with notes of cinnamon, caramel, fruity esters, not bad. On tap at brewpub, July 12 2010 Beerdedone (3408) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 25, 2010

On tap at Vermont Brewfest 2010.Murky brown pour, good sized beige head. Aroma holds mostly caramel malt, bread, and a touch of molasses. Flavor is similar-- not complex, and not particularly interesting. Still, an OK brew. Fred82 (2324) - Québec City, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 10, 2010
