In short: A smooth chocolaty stout with dry woody notes. Nice session beer.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Black body topped by a small tan head
In long: Nose is moderately chocolaty, moderately roasted and a bit woody. Body is soft and with a smooth carbonation. Taste of milk chocolate, some roast, nutty notes, cacao powder, some dry wood. No hops to speak of but the wood provides a dry finish and reduces the sweetness sensation to almost nothing. Good drinkability. A decent beer from my favorite pizza & beer place, and drinking many pints of beer while eating a full size pizza by myself is what separates real men like me from little boys. That and the court order.
