Backlog June 2016. Drank at The Reservoir as "Zero Gravity Saison" art 5% abv. Feel free to move if it’s not at the right place. Clear greenish golden with a medium white head, good retention, leaving little lacing. Aroma is grains forward with lemon and herbal notes but not much Saison yeast. Taste is mildly acidic with herbal notes, grains and lemon. Light body. Soft carbonation. Herbal finish. Light, easy drinking and grainy but bland and without much Saison character.

In short: A decent low-abv Belgian blond ale called a Saison
How: Tap at Prohibition Pig, Waterbury VT
The look: Clear blond topped by a small white head
In long: The yeasty nose is only s tiny bit rustic and is mostly about banana esters. Taste has plenty of bready malts, crackers, banana muffins, pineapples, grassy spiciness and coriander. Full lively body. Moderate attenuation. Light rustic notes but I think I was just trying very hard to find something Saison about this beer. Decent low gravity Belgian blonde beer. This is rating #4900 for me, another milsestone, hurray me, and I hope ratebeer never crash and all my ratings gets lost, because if it happens I’ll have nothing to show for past 6 years of my life. Nothing at all.

Draft. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Light flowery aroma with spicy yeasty notes. The flavor has restrained spicy yeast, floral notes, and a light fruity sweetness. Pretty good.

A hazed blonde saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, a smooth spiced malt with light coriander notes, a bit of mineral notes. In mouth, a nice sweet smooth malt with light cloves, coriander, a bit creamy, not bad. On tap at AFB Burlington, March 18 2012.

On draft at the brewery, poured a golden color, aromas of spicey yeast, and a touch of citrus. Mostly spicey yeast flavor, reminded me a lot of the Witness they brew.

On draft at the brew pub. Light white head. Nice lacing. Nice Belgian Str saison that starts great but ends thin.
