On tap at Zero Degrees, Reading, stated ABV 4.6%. Pitch black with a ring of beige head, and high carbonation; aroma of dull chocolate malts; dry and spritzy in the mouth with a good chocolate malt flavour; soft and sweet to finish with an underlying bitterness. Rather light and inconsequential overall.
Tap @ brewpub. Pours very dark but not entirely black, with a small tan head. It's dry and very hoppy with notes of roasted malts and a hint of oranges. Could just be the hops. Very drinkable.

On tap at Zerodegrees Cardiff. Almost black coloured, small off-white head, mild roasty nose. Mild roasted malt, light bready, some caramel and weak hoppy with notes of coffee and touch of wood. Average and boring brew. gnoff (11138) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 27, 2017

Hazy dark brown color, tan head. Malty, roasted, herbal taste. Roasted aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Roasted, mineral scent.
Reading. Flight. 01/11/16. Chocolate coffee aroma, but vague. Dark brown. Red hued in the light. No head. Sour. Yeasty. Some bitterness. Light bodied. Not great. Scopey (16223) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2015
Keg at Zerodegrees Blackheath. It pours hazy/murky deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is earthy, plenty of dirty sulphur, burnt egg sandwich, sweet roast, manure, rivita and burnt toast. The taste is bitter-sweet, earthy roast, rivita, cocoa powder, slight stickiness, pepper and weak coffee grounds with a dry, toasted finish. Light - medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Wow that aroma is very off-putting. Taste is better, but still not great. A poorly executed beer for sure.

Origin: Tap. Vessel: Tumbler. Supplier: Zero Degrees (Bristol). Very little nose but heavy hit of roasted malts when tasted. Gives way to rising smokiness. hohops (1157) - Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2015
Keg. Appearance is black, with a half-finger beige head. Aroma- hops, chocolatey malt, cocoa, spice hints. Taste- crisp, hoppy lager, with hints of milk chocolate and dark malts. Interesting stuff. Lowenbrau (4798) - Asturias, SPAIN - DEC 25, 2014

Pours quite dark with little tan head. Roasty, caramel, liquorice aromas. Taste follows the nose. Nice and tasty dunkel.
Aroma: roasted malts, grain, chocolate. Appearance: black, small, creamy, beige head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: malty sweets coming up quickly, grains and toasted malts again, lively carbonation. Overall: decent Dunkel, quite well-balanced. Pint at Zerodegrees, Blackheath. undercurrent25 (2246) - Barnton, Cheshire, ENGLAND - JUN 20, 2014
