Clear, golden color. Medium-sized, white head . Nice aroma of malt , bread , fresh hay, flowers. Disastrous taste : malt , emptiness and alcohol at the end. After promising aroma I expected something decent.

500ml bottle from a supermarket in Engels. Pours straw yellow with a medium head that is gone in seconds. Aroma is sweet and grainy. Very average tasting lager. It’s a little sad that this is by the brewery that came up with Zhigulevskoe back in the 1930s. This can’t be the original recipe. thellgren (1082) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 19, 2013
0.5 l bottle, I got it from my mother-in-law who bought it somewhere in Samara. Colour is, well, very pale. Head is quite OK. There is quite a lot CO2 bubbles. This tastes very light. However, you can find some traces of malts and hops if you try very hard. Might be refreshing in a hot summer day.

Clear golden yellow with huge lasting white foam head. Aroma is quite strong barley, pilsener. Taste quite crisp, good beer. Lasting aftertaste, turning little bitter in time. (Samara 201310) Imaena (2327) - Maputo, MOZAMBIQUE - JUN 24, 2013
Draught. Had this at one of the outdoor beer gartens by the Golden Gates in Kiev. It was nothing special but it hit the spot. personalart (3) - RUSSIA - JUL 5, 2012 does not count
This light non-pasteurized beer with typical products of the brewery’s bitterness. Strykzone (7431) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JAN 24, 2012
Clear and golden with a small off white head that does not last long. Decent carbonation is visible. A bit of grain, malt, and hops in the nose but only a bit. Hops are tasted a little more than sniffed. I taste light honey and malt. Grass. Not much was expected and it met those expectations. 500ml Bottle thanks to a collegue who found it in her basement, sampled @ home, shared with Joes. NOTE: Best before 20-07-2007! Hazy orange color, small head that’s quickly gone. Smell dust, cellar and just old. Taste malts, slightly some bitter. Bit watery and earth. Low carbo, low body.
