Can, 2C. Orange with a head that disappears faster than you pour it. Aroma is of pineapple chunks in HFCS. Soft drink sweet with the pineapple less dominant and less convincing than in the aroma. There’s some very, very light beery flavours and the tiniest hint of bitterness. Not disgusting but too sweet to be refreshing. Erzengel (9329) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAY 22, 2015
Can in Macau. Extreme chemical pineapple in the nose. The "beer" starts sweetish chemical. Sugary without a taste that would me remind of pineapples... Strange stuff. Sweetish-sugary chemical aftertaste. Ngejo (993) - Jakarta, INDONESIA - AUG 8, 2014
Can. Clear, golden, minimal head, heavy cloying sweetness, fizzy, light body, sticky, & astringent finish. rok1024 (1272) - Maribor, SLOVENIA - JUN 6, 2014
Clear yellow appearance, no head. Malty pineapple aroma, not much if any hops. Plain fruit beer. Geiserich (4573) - Linz, AUSTRIA - AUG 14, 2013
Can: Intensive pineapple aroma and flavor, sugary, quite sweet. Very pale yellow color, no head. Definitely no beer character but a nice lemonade ;-)

Yellow, clear, no head. Foul fruity aroma. Fake, sugary pineapple flavor. Why, why, why, why, why?!?!?!?!? OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 24, 2013
Can shared by larsga. A quickly fading white head, over bright pale yellow body. Smell of candy-fruit and something artificial acidic. Taste is fruit-drops dissolved in carbonized water with some ascorbic acids added. Oh dear.

330ml can bought from local ParkNShop supermarket; Amber colour; No head and near zero froth, no lacing to speak of and carbonation is minimal; Smell of sickly sweet pineapple fruit, sugar syrup and rice; Very thin body; Apparent taste of pineapple flavouring, syrup and rice, no hop taste or palate at all; It’s so sweet it gave me a sore throat and I have to wash it down with hot tea afterwards. Slighty dry aftertaste.
Comments: Just when I thought Taiwan Beer Pineapple was mediocre enough, this product gives the word “nadir” a whole new meaning: at abv less than 1.0% it bears no resemblance of a proper beer, as Zhujiang makes no pretense in the product description shown on its website: “With low alcohol content, even children can enjoy.” I don’t think kids will enjoy it because the syrupy taste is so strong it may hurt their throats. I don’t mind if it doesn’t has real fruit in it, just as long as you put some effort to make a decent product. With the look, smell, taste, palate and feel all close to zero, this isn’t even half-arse, it belongs to the bin.
Medium white head quickly disappears with a fizzing sound. Clear yellow body with large-bubbled carbonation. Perfumy fruity aroma with orangey soft drink notes. Sweet artificial sugary generic fruit taste. Mid-bodied. Sweet aftertaste is same as main flavour. Tastes like a soft drink, with all the complexity of a Harry Potter character. (0.33l can, Wellcome Supermarket, Hong Kong.) hcalsos (205) - Rælingen, NORWAY - SEP 26, 2012
0.33 can @larsga. No head, yellow colour. Candy pineapple aroma, artificial flavor.
