UPDATED: OCT 2, 2017 Not a bad beer. I think people confuse this with a traditional boch when it is more of a red/amber. Better the Amberboch.

Smooth taste Great Bach Easy drink If it's summer time and you need a refreshing beer to drink that doesn't taste like piss, go for this one. It's light enough with plenty of flavor and is amazing on tap ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Complimentary beer at the embassy suites north dfw. Poured into a plastic glass, Amber hue, minimal head. Lost of toasted malt, mild grass. Medium mouth. Okay.

No significant aroma, no hops or malt. Quite estery for a lager. The primary flavor is a light caramel, not appropriate for a Vienna. A bad copy of a Shiner bock, which is not a great beer to begin with.

Had some of these at the house, then a bunch at a Rangers game. Enjoyed them more than most ambers. Fairly clean. Not terribly malty.

Pours a bronze/amber color. About two fingers tan colored head. Slight retention, very slight lacing. It is amber, but clear.

Aroma is quite malrty. I smell medium roasted malts ,caramel, perhaps floral hops.

Tastes good. Nothing wrong with the taste, it’s just...there. Sweet, not so malty though. Artificially sweetened? Weird. Metallic twang at the end. Something is not right.

Mouthfeel is light and refreshing. That’s about all I have to say about that.

Overall, it’s a beer that’s more amber than Bock. Not terrible. It’s good enough to drink again, but it’s not something I’ll be looking to buy. I’m not going to say to avoid it, but if you haven’t tried it, really, you’re not missing anything.

Dark amber with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Thin body with a smooth mouth feel. Light caramel taste with hardly any noticeable hop bitterness although it’s there. Clean refreshing finish. Not bad for a Texas macro bock.

Pours deep copper with small white head. Aromas are sweet malts, grains, maybe some toffee. Lively carbonation, light body. Medium hoppy finish. Nothing exceptional here, but quite drinkable.

kathouse (1940) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - DEC 21, 2015
This is an ABInBev brewery. Pours a deep clear amber with just a thin white foam. Malty aroma with hints of bread and grain. Body has a good malt flavor initially followed by some grassy hop. Gets more pronounced as it goes. May want to stick to just a first sip.

Soild but unspectacular, not a bad beer although i consider it a bock lite since it lacks the strength and robust flavor of a true bock. Its o.k. when you consider the price.
