Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, and dusty hops, as well as a light note of oxidation. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of MaltOMeal. Clear amber golden with a small off-white head. Sweetish aroma of caramel and overripe fruit. Medium-bodied with sweetish caramel, a little overripe fruit and a basically absent bitterness. Has a wee lingering tartness. 220808

A-B’s answer to Shiner Bock, but let’s face it - every bar in Texas serves beer so damn cold it has ice crystals on top, so who cares what you’re drinking. You won’t taste it anyway.

yngwie (17049) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 2, 2008
Bottle. A dark golden beer, clear, with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel, bread and some fruits playing a minor part. Quite sweet and malty flavor, with a pleasant fruity touch. Medium , quite effervescent mouthfeel. Short fruity finish with some bitterness. Quite pleasant and straight forward without being exciting. (080822)

Only available in Texas, unless you connect with ericandersnavy. Pours brilliant copper with a fluffy beige head. Aroma of roast caramel with some nuts and fruits. Near medium body with average carbonation. Flavor is roast caramel with some flattish dark fruit aspects. Seems to be astringent. Not all that sweet, seems to have some balancing bitter. Pretty good for AB.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a small white head. The aroma was very malty with caramel and light hops. Not much lacing on the glass. The taste was a very sweet malt but a bit watery. Id rather drink a shiner.
