A mild but tasty Schwarzes that is high in drinkability. Great for a comfy evening with a heavy meal and a open fire place.

Greit svartl som egentlig er brunt - bra skum - noe stlig. Minner om noe ekstrakt. Okay, Schwarzbier , das wirklich in der Farbe braun - gut Schaum - etwas Ses. Erinnert an etwas wie Extrakt. Okay black beer that really is brown in color - good foam - something sweet. Reminiscent of something extract like.

From a bottle sporting a plastic pull-top type thing. Pours brown from the bottle. The frothy crown fizzes and makes a quick exit. The aroma lets you know from the outset that this is a malt-driven beer: sweet, earthy, with hints of molasses and caramel. Taste is exceptionally sweet with both roasted and medicinal notes. The finish is without bitterness and leaves you with a light syrupy sweetness on the tongue. This feels like a midway station between a sugary malt drink and a "proper" beer. The second disappointing brew I brought back from Austria from this brewer and, thankfully, the last.

Grainy/malty, light sweet aroma. Dark brown color, foamy, off-white head. Flavor is malty, light sweet and fresh, notes of candies. Some drieness and roastiness in the end. Few bitterness.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, dark brown colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Ashy, grassy and sulfuric aroma with hints of dark malt. Sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dark malty, slightly leafy taste with grassy and subtle fruity notes; sweet and slightly sticky finish with hints of sulphur. Not satisfying. 23.VIII.16

0.33l bottle from mpreis in innsbruck, 1.19.
pours a clear chestnut with a small white head and some lacing. aroma of grass, grains, very slight roast. Im not sure I would have recognized that this is a dark beer by smell alone. flavour of milk chocolate, nuts, bread. sweetish finish.

Für ein schwarzes sehr rötliche farbe! Angenehmer geschmack! Nicht so süß wie die meisten schwarzbiere! Passt sehr gut zu wildgerichten!
