500ml can, bright yellow color, with an off-white head, light pale malt, fruity, floral hop nose, with a mild straw accent, in the aroma follows though on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, sweet pale malt, flowery hop character, with a hint of grassiness and leafiness, leading towards a leafy hop bitterness finish.

Clear blond coloured beer with small white head and few carbonation. Few aroma, little herby. Full palate, bit sparkling. Finish is herby and wattery.

Sample from 330 ml bottle, simply called "Zipfer", at the Brewery International stand, Smak 09. ABV is 5.4%. Golden colour, low head. Fairly clean pilsener aroma and flavour, notes of German hops. Reasonably bitter aftertaste.

judasbeer (431) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 27, 2009
Huge, frothy head with average lacing. Pale straw color. Fresh citrus hops in the aroma. Mild nutty malty base flavor with sipcy hoppy finish. Light to medium bodied with active carbonation. Refreshing summer pilsner.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2009 330 ml bottle. From Germany. Name was Zipfer Original Import. Tastes like a basic pale lager beer. A bit above the average. Quite boring. Well, quite smooth though.

500 ml can. From Wals-Siezenheim, Austria. Clear pale golden colour with small white head. Sweetish aroma with weak maltiness and hoppiness. Flavour is sweet and hoppy. Not too interesting.

SeanMacGC (334) - Dublin, IRELAND - DEC 5, 2008
Bottle, 66ml. Pours clear golden, with virtually no head, and minimal lacing. Not much going on for either the nose or the palate: mild hops on both, and insubstantial mouthfeel. Inoffensive, but unmemorable.

Wim (3980) - Weelde, BELGIUM - NOV 30, 2008
gold blond coloured body with a little white head a hoppy spicy aroma a hoppy spicy little fruity taste with a bitter finish

Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - NOV 20, 2008
Really not sure if this is the one but the ABV says so. IT was a lager but very strong, like the Hamburg area ones.

Ober (2812) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2008
Bottle. A clear, light yellow colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of malts, fruits and a little hops. the taste is malty with fruits like orange and citrus. A little bitter, much to little for a urtyp. The aftertaste is little bitter. Not bad, but in my view not really an urtyp.
