Demens (440) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 21, 2016
0,33l bottle. I had the Original Import version with the "ein glas heller freude" label tag line. Pale yellow colour with quickly disppearing small white head. Aroma: Intense honey with notes of elderflower. I’m surprised. Taste: Sweet malty with a very light bitter mouthfeel. The malty caracter is very strong, not the usual pale lager taste. A bit spicey (pepper) too. Light body with fizzy carbonation. Medium lasting sweet/sour and a bit dry finish. It was a surprise for me, I expected something watery and typical lager but this is better.

Pale yellow color, with small fast fading head. Metallic taste, slight malty aroma with malty sweetness. Industrial lager, slight worse than average.

midovark (932) - Balassagyarmat, HUNGARY - MAY 18, 2016
0.5 l can. Shares alll the characteristics of an average commercial pale lager, but with a bit more hops in aroma and taste than the usual. These bitterish hops scent/taste make it slightly above average for me.

0,5 l Flasche irgendwo aus Österreich. Helle, goldene Farbe. Klar, mit mäßig Kohlensäure und einer kleinen Schaumkrone. Riecht nach Stroh, Gras, schmeckt auch so. Ich vermute Hopfenextrakt, leider keine Inhaltsstoffe

jgb9348 (6250) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAR 21, 2016
Clear golden coloured body with a dense, three centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of grass, sweet caster sugar, light wheat and a hint of unfinished yeast. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and sweet flavour at first with a nice fresh cut grass and very floral flavour of the light hops, coupled with a subdued malt flavour. Aftertaste is pretty minimal and mild with only the sweetness from the pure caster sugar coming through, along with perhaps a hint of the grass and floral elements. Overall, a pretty subdued offering, but not a bad option and at least it has flavour! I sampled this 50 cL can purchased a few hours ago from Spar [Gourmet] in the centre of Wien, Austria on 21-March-2016 for €1,17 sampled in my hotel apartment in Wien, Austria on 21-March-2016.
