COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Comes in a unique twist off bottle, very nice. It is really fresh, it just became available in the USA I believe. Pours into my Veltins glass with a deep yellow/gold, a nice white head rises far above the rim and produces some nice lacing. The smell is grainy, with medicinal hops, but mostly malt in the scent. Taste is a nice crisp light lager flavor, with a good maltiness but with subtle bitter hops in the finish. The mouthfeel is a bit fuller than most Euro Pale Lagers. Overall its a decent Euro lager that is cheap and would be good for a party beer, impress someone with the fancy bottle. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 12-27-2009 20:10:28

The bottle I have is labelled "Zipfer" and underneath "Ein Glas Heller Freude". More of a helles than a pale lager. Pale yellow color with thin head, grassy aroma and slight bitter hay in the flavor. This is a good summer quaff. Really enjoying this one.

0.5 L bottle, ’bbe’ Jan 07. Light in colour, scarce sparkle, lacy and well-sized froth. Hoppy aroma with a good malt note underneath. Dry, hoppy taste with a light citrus note. Gentle but lasting bitter AT. Drying finish, a bit watery body.

Another Austrian beer! This is a pretty decent relatively bitter beer worth recommending.

Bottle 50 cl from Spar in Bregenz, Österreich. Poured pale golden in colour with fluffy white head. Leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Hoppy and grassy aroma. Sweet, lemon and grassy hops in flavour. Interesting brew.

Tasty again for a great price in austria. Cheaper than water, how can anyone complain? Head disappeared quickly. Nice taste then the bitterness kicks in which some may like. I bought two and will probably drink them both. How’s that for an endorsement?

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2012 Very much a pale lager in every way only a little bit better. Some bread in the aroma, the flavor is a mix of white bread and cornbread, although not strongly. Easy to drink, a decent pale lager.
