OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 28, 2010
0.33L bottle labelled Zipfer from bestillingsutvalget, Vinmonopolet. Body is shiny, straw colored with a fully diminishing blond head. Modest aroma of sweetish, grainy and bready malts, a hint ogf hay and a faint lemony fruitiness. Light to medium body, with a light malt sweetness and some noticable earthy and grassy hops. Sparkling, if not fizzy in the mouth. Short, dryish, light hoppy finish. Not bad, not exciting either, straightforward and simple.

Bottle. Poured clear yellow with thin fast dissipating white head. Pleasant grassy aroma. Light body, flavour begins well and dissolves into a sicky finish. Not a winner.

Tap. Clear pale golden colour. Stable head. Classic eurolager, but drinkable. Faint notes of actual ingredients mixed with light yeastiness and light washing cloth.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2008 Very pale colored. Glue in the aroma and a bit of malt and apple. Medium to full bodied. Apple in the flavor. Grainy. Some bitterness that lingers on in the aftertaste, in which the glue returns. Sticky. Can. Grainy, soapy aroma. Grainy, soft flowery flavor with a hint of citrus and a soft hopbitterness. Standard lager.

Grovlam (4208) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 13, 2007
Bottle. Head was small foamy white with and average last. Slight lacing in glass. Body was clear light sparkling with an amber reddish colour. Aroma was light, grain, hay, grass. Light bodied with a very thin texture and a soft carbonation. Flavour was slightly bitter with some balancing sweetness. Light bitter finish. I have to agree with HenrikSoegaard, this was a ok beer, but not 2.7!
