Aus der Flasche getrunken (Landbierparadies Nrnberg). Macht frische eingeschenkt im Glas ziemlich was her, ist aber trotzdem nur ein durchschnittliches Kellerbier.

Pours hazy orange from the bottle. The crown is quite creamy in texture, and subsides slowly. Optically quite nice. The smell is in the direction of a compost heap with a fair share of fruit on it. Yeast and caramel malts are very noticeable. Interesting, but very subjective. Taste is mild with the expected malt undertone, but also has notes of apricot, cinnamon, and sugar. Finish is inconsequential with no noticeable notes to speak of beyond a sweet caramel aftertaste. Body is medium to full; quite striking in view of the mild taste. A pleasant example of the German "cellar beer" style. No unexpected twists here, but also no ragged edges. Very drinkable.
