bottle from Landbierdealer. Cloudy brownish colour, large off-white head. Malty, wheaty, hints of fruit - but very shy fruity hints only. Wheaty flavours dominate. Good. Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - JAN 19, 2011
Darker than many hefes. Big, big head, but not big-as-in-infected head. Straight wheat all the way, brusque grain (wheat tanginess and dough) flavor, slightly sour and sweet, bready. Aroma grainy (bread) and peppery, and flowers, very natural. Quite good and fresh, from Piwoteka. rickgordon (3874) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 13, 2010
Bottled. Copper colour with big, creamy remaining head. Bit disappointing aroma of sewer, along with earth and caramel. The flavour is as estery as the classics, there are suggestions phenols (vague band aid) and notes of caramel and earth. There are a lot of banana esters that coats the mouth so nicely. Mouthfeel is big-ish, with sweet maltiness in the end. Not much tin or nutmeg, just plain estery. No bitterness. I found this to be a bit different from the other hefes - due to the caramel thing. It’s unclear golden with a huge, creamy head, and the aroma has notes of wheat, fruit and yeast. The flavour is sweet with notes of fruit, yeast, wheat, light banana and the finish is spicy. jfb (6229) - GERMANY - AUG 17, 2010

Deep hazy golden colour with big creamy white head. Aroma is wheat, yeast, earth and quite big on the malts as well as wood. Flavour is strawberries, wheat, yeast and some citrus. Rather nicely balance.d Big berryish and malty aftertaste.
Quite cloudy. Straw colour with a thick head. The aroma is quite sweet - banana, some icing sugar and some nutmeg. Fairly fizzy. Some banana and sugar, but enough wheaty acidity in the finish to cut it. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 21, 2009
Bottle at Pelikan. Honey yellow color, cloudy with a fizzy head. Potent banana aromas and flavors. Fizzy mouthfeel and is gassy. Flavors also include apple and pear. Not so bad.
