Russo (2012) - Hemhofen, GERMANY - JAN 10, 2011
I got an Helles there. A tasty Helles at the brewery. Nice cloudy yellow color with a amazing head, aroma is malty and floral hops. Flavor is quite dry, but well carbonated and a medium body with a nie bitterness at end. Nice beer!!

ogivlado (8151) - Zagreb, CROATIA - APR 5, 2006
Draught at the brewpub, -cloudly honey coloured, minimal white head, nice hoppy and slight yeasty aroma, refreshing and a bit watery, all beers from this place are good but somehow too similar to Medvedgrad beers

artyom (1205) - Osijek, CROATIA - SEP 25, 2014
Draught at Zlatni medo. Hazy golden color with white head. Nice malty aroma. Taste is sweet with some hop notes and slightly bitter finish. Overall it’s rather good beer.

hrabren (1665) - Zagreb, CROATIA - OCT 27, 2015
On tap at the brewpub. Hazy dirty golden with medium white head. Strong malty aroma. Bread. Sour fruits, pear maybe. Medium carbonation, medium to full body. Light and sweet. Domestic feeling. Light malty finish. Quite good.

Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 11, 2007
A tasty pilsner in which the brewery has managed to extract a lot of flavour from their malts. Light wheat cracker-like taste is followed by a firm hop bite for Croatia. Dry palate as well, if very grainy. Perhaps a little husky, but well carbonated and solid medium body that fits the growing bitterness. Apparently variable, but I liked it a fair bit.

Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 12, 2007
Decent brews: straightforward and unpretentious. Tried all three offerings available that day: light, semi-dark, and dark. The dark was the most flavorful, followed by the semi-dark. None were spectacular but fresh and good nonetheless. The food at the brewpub was excellent when we were there.

Gurthnar (6245) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUN 6, 2014
Tap at the brewery. Aroma fresh beer, maybe a bit too young, but not too much so. Noble hops comes through. Hazy golden colour, stable white head. Taste is a reasonable mix between delicate noble hops and a bit of young yeast. Malt backbone, comes through a bit more in the finish. Easily drinkable, refreshing, good one.

0.5l draught. Cloudy golden color with small white head. Aroma of yeast, appricot/peach and malt. Taste is bitter and little sour.

Marko (6163) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - MAR 30, 2006
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2016 A new brewpub opened up where Medvedgrad used to be, which is a great thing. they shamelessly mimic Medvedgrad in most aspects, but can their beer compare ? Yes. This poured a misty, honey like orange-golden colour. Thick and firm medium sized chalky white head that went at a medium pace. The nose was malty and lemony, slightly acidic. The hops dominate the taste (which is very good). They bitter up the foreground, form the background and go a long way into the aftertaste. Some grain shows up, and yeast. Nice stuff. almost as good as its Medvedgrad counterpart.

Nice Slavic pils. Sweet and a little sandy. But refreshing. I like them. NIce foam and not annoying.
