This beer is very dark brown and has an OK head. The aroma notes of roasted malt and licorice and the flavour has light sweetness and notes of caramel and in the finish I find a light bitterness and notes of licorice. It’s OK, but I had expected more. chmurarz (647) - Legnica POLAND, POLAND - MAR 16, 2007

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours a nice dark - almost black - colour with a medium creamy off-white head that stays at the sides of the top. Aroma is mild - some liquorice, sweet. Nice full mouthfeel, slightly tacky. Flavour is sweet with roasted backbone. faroeviking (11091) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - JAN 24, 2007
Tap @ Thorups Ølkælder, Aarhus. Far too much butter, especially in the aroma. Little bitterness in the finish. 2.6
UPDATED: JAN 25, 2007 Bottle. Dark brown almost black colour. Big short lasting bubbly light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, bit smoky, slightly hoppish. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, some liquorice. Roasty and bit smoky finish. The aftertaste is roasty wit liquorice and some hoppiness. pivnizub (10763) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - NOV 4, 2006
Bottle: Reddish amber coloured, small fluffy off-white head; a tinge of smoked wood (!) in the nose, but mainly an aroma of sweet dark malt with a touch of hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; sweet, slightly roastmalty finish with an almost hidden bitterness. Nothing unpleasant detectable, even the "umele sladidlo" (artificial sweetener) is well hidden.......

Bottle. Dark brownish colour with a nice moslty lasting light brownish head. Aroma and taste of malts and fruits. Nice beer. DougShoemaker (3146) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 30, 2006
Sweet malt aroma, with some brown sugar, dark chestnut, pours a large toffee head. Fine malt flavour, more hints of brown sugar. Medium bodied, pleasantly sweet, well balanced. Very good offering. Thanks Radek. Radek Kliber (7470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - AUG 21, 2006
Bottle. 5.1% Polish edition. Brown tea, large frothy tan head. Neat appearance. Mineral, malty aroma, gentle sweetness. Medium light bodied, clean soft character that is so typical to Czech products. Very drinkable, cant stop having just one. D (577) - Gdynia, POLAND - SEP 23, 2005
I drank a dark Zlatopramen Dunkel bought in Poland, so I reckon it was this one made for Polish market. However, the ABV of mine beer was 5,1% Anyway, it had a standard dunkel look with a pretty solid head. Slightly fruity, roasted coffee flavour with a bitter aftertaste. Drinks very well, definitely a fine one. dortmunder (961) - Herdecke, GERMANY - MAR 31, 2005
Bottled. Dark ruby red colour. Initially huge, but diminishing head. Caramalty, slightly coffeish aroma. Sweet, malty, coffeish taste and a little sugary. Not one of the greatest dunkels, but certainly a nice one.
