Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 16, 2007
bottle from Pivní Galerie Praha, labelled Zlatovar Max, ABV 4,1%. Clear golden colour, tiny head. Hoppy nose and another smell I can’t identify. Quite malty at first, becoming more and more hoppy towards the lingering finish. Hints of something burnt, difficult to describe. This bottle was probably brewed by Litovel, I’m not sure whether Zlatovar Opava still brews.

Bottle. Quite malty, but not sweet. Rather harsh bitterness.
