This poured a beautiful golden color with a small white head that dissipated quickly to a thin film along the top. Aroma was very nice without a trace of skunkiness to it. Very crisp, very clean, a very well done Czech Pilsener. The drinkability on this one is sky high. I will definitely have again.

not a bad beer from the slovaks, kind of like PU with half the IBUs. beautiful rich irregular head and classic golden colour from decoction mashing gets it 5/5 for appearance from me. some pleasant fine peppery saaz in nose and finish, but low bitterness. drinkable and clean, no diacetyl, fruitiness, dms, garbage.

Tap at OTH. Actually this beer was a good suprise from the average pilsners. Pours clear golden with thick white head. Aroma has a pronounced bitter hops nose with notes of wheat. Taste, typical pilsner, grains light floral hops with a nice fruity mouthfeel - apple. Bitter finish with a light presence touch of sugary malts.

Cybercat (6333) - Georgia, USA - JAN 11, 2009
It pours out a nice clear coppery amber with a rather thick, slightly off-white head. The head stays for a bit, a point in this beer’s favor. Crisp aroma is fairly strong and has a fruity hint. Flavor is crisp and has a surprisingly strong bitter bite, as well as just a hint of sweet fruit. Texture is smooth and tingly, and aftertaste is somewhat bitter but not nastily so. One of the better pilsners I have sampled.

Golden with a white head. Aroma of malts and hoppy notes. Flavour is malt and hop bitterness. Dry, bitter finish.

Bottle. Better than I expected but not good. Yellow pour. White head. Malty as hell on the nose and flavor has a ton of malt with very faint hop balance. You wont catch me drinking this again.

Hop aroma, strong taste of hop bitter. Not fantastic but a very strong Eastern European beer.

vulcanmeister (306) - La Grande, Oregon, USA - DEC 25, 2008
Pours a light golden with vigorous but quickly disappearing white head. Aroma was slightly floral and grainy. Taste was lightly sweet with quickly appearing mild hoppy bitterness and continuing graininess. Medium body and flavors fading to a residual ascerbic floral and slight metallic aftertaste. Crisp and very drinkable. Nothing outstanding but good with food.

50cl bottle. Light yellow with some amber hints and a lasting white head. Grassy, hoppy, mineral, and subtle sourdough bread aroma. Honey and bread malt profile with a grassy and bitter finish. A bit more body than I was expecting, with moderate carbonation. I was frankly expecting some skunk out of this due to the green bottle and warm storage at bevmo, but this is in good condition. Nice fat malty body, maybe a bit light on the hops, though who knows how old this is.
