Solid pilsner style beer. Very tasty, One of my favorite European Pilsners. Poured with a nice white head and a bit o lace. Malty aroma with the bitter hop fully present. Some neutral corn sweetness evident. Good finish. For sure a session beer if you’re into this kind of beer. Burps too. Having a bottle of this at Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, Wis. USA

500 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a Beau’s pint glass.

App.: Clear golden with a nice white froth. Aroma: Light corn/grain/cereal and light grassy Saaz hops. Palate: Medium body and fairly light carbonation, feels slick. Flav.: Same as the nose, but lighter; dry with a bit of bitterness and a clean finish.

Not terribly exciting, but it sure tastes good today (40 deg. with humidity).

Tan color with white head. Aroma of sweet malt and corn. Flavor is somewhat sweet with a slightly bitter hops finish. Not bad.

OK pilsener, with the tiniest hints of sweetness balanced with light hops on the finish. Flavor pretty much disappears two seconds after swallowing.

Pours a four finger white head that fades slowly and leaves some lace. Clear amber color. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Grassy nose. Flavor is grassy, some hops with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Typical Euro pils. $2.15 for a 330ml bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

Poured a clear light pale yellow color with some fizzy head. Aroma is sweet, only slightly grassy, and a bit yeasty. Mouthfeel pretty thick, flavor very sweet with only a bit of grassy citric hoppiness. Overall, not that great of a pils.

Malty and crisp, but a tad watery for a pilsener. Reminded me of a pale lager style, which is never a good thing. Hops were mild, but crisp. Corn adjuncts? Maybe. Some sweetness to it as well. Overall subpar, but not bad.
