One of the better bohemian Pils I’ve had. Nice to see it available here in mass quantity.

Yay! Another country. Just fine. Nothing particularly special, but it’s very drinkable.

Pours a bright golden with a significant egg white head that begins diminishing soon. Aroma is bread dough and Saaz hops. Crisp refreshing pilsner taste of sweet pale malt and mild hop bitterness. Very good; very much like a Bohemian pils.

a slighty hazy gold beer with a small creamy head and very little lacing. huge skunky aroma with a touch of lemon. crisp light palate. flavor has notes of lemon and honey with some creamed corn. light bodied and sharply carbonated. not that great.

Somewhat similar to, but smoother than a Heineken Lager. An attractive aroma that is quickly met with a pleasant, crisp, and satisfiying taste. Quite delicious actually.

roebuck (45) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 16, 2008
Pours a hazy yellow with a quick dissolving head. Somewhat sweet on the palate in that ol’ pilsener sort of way. I too caught hints on corn. Decent for something with a meal, but as a stand alone I’d look elsewhere.

Clear golden with thin head. Mild Skunky aroma and some corn too. Kind of watery, some sweetness from the malt, but nothing special here.

Pours small head which goes away within a minute. Sweet and sour flavors, slightly better than the mediocre American lagers, but at least it is cheap at Whole Foods.

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2008 Great beer. Small white head. Earthy, nutty flavour with tasty hints of citrus and grass. Great crispy flavour. Need to try. Best slovak beer I have had. Bought at Superstore Liquorstore. Can also get at bottlescrew Bills old english pub calgary, AB.
