IEBAILI (128) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 13, 2007
Clear medium gold with a little white foam, smells of noble hops and fresh grass, nice crisp taste, a little bready, mildly bitter with a bit of lemon orange fruitiness, Texture has a little richness without being heavy. Good ’regular’ beer taste, a nice sessionable lager. Tastes pretty fresh compared to most European lagers that arrive in the States, Solid and sessionable beer.

BrianHagmeier (299) - Coralville, Iowa, USA - DEC 6, 2007
White frothy head that dimishes quickly and sits a top a clear yellow gold beer. Has a light malt and hop aroma with like wise flavor. I couldn’t detect the higher alcohol content. Not a bad beer.

madquacker (1170) - Canberra ACT, AUSTRALIA - DEC 1, 2007
Another bland brew from Eastern Europe. Started out alright but the sweetness and nasty grains were too overpowering in the end. Was hard to drink all 500mls. Soapy and watery with a nasty grainy undertow. Not sure what the 12% is about??

obguthr (6659) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - NOV 18, 2007
Soapy, skunky, and slightly grainy aroma. Yellow color no head. Pretty weak flavor with a tinge of cherry. Hopless and dull.

krazy77 (3) - tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - NOV 10, 2007 does not count
great tasting smooth no bad lingering aftertaste in my top fav 5 with hoegaarden at number 1

bluevegie (3938) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - NOV 9, 2007
Clear golden body with short lasting head. First impression this was drinking ok but after 500ml it was starting to get a little heavy, too much sweet malts and not enough fresh hops to really impress.

jgentgesdo (694) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - NOV 6, 2007
Pours clear yellow with fizzy white head. Nose is faint soap, malt. Flavor of faint stale malt, rather bitter towards the end. Forgettable.

sinkas (293) - Perth/Fremantle, AUSTRALIA - NOV 2, 2007
Bottle, Freo Doctor, Fremantle Slightly old smelling noble hops, with a tiny hint of malt, Very flat, almost slick palate, with a hint of peppery spiciness and vegetative hop flavours. No malt to speak of. Not nasty by any means, but perhaps a little battlescarred.

estpiwo (1319) - ESTONIA - OCT 23, 2007
0,5L bottle. Golden color, not so rich aroma, balanced flavor. But without aftertaste.

SN11 (66) - USA - OCT 2, 2007
UPDATED: JUN 6, 2008 Dark green Bottle. Talk about an underrated beer. This goes down smoothly. The flavor is gentle, slightly sweet but malty with distinctive signature. Well ballanced, not as hoppy and carbonated as some other pills. The head disappears rather quickly leaving little or no lacing. I’ve had this hundreds of times and it never seems to become stale, tastes as great as the first time I tried it. This is my favorite pilsner next to Urquell.
