3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Found this beer somewhere... Probably the Cellar’s. At least it’s a new country rating! Solid pilsner nose - malty with very faint hops. Semi sweet malt flavor with plenty of carbonation this lightly colored beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From a 12-oz bottle shared by JK, this beverage pours a clear golden pale brew with a fast dissolving white head that diminishes to a whtie ring. Aroma of light pilsener malt, some toasted bread, and fresh grassy hops. Taste is light highly carbonated and light hoppy bitterness. Finish is near clean with a slight grassy hop aftertaste.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle. Poured a clear golden color. Disappearing bubbly white head. Aroma was of skunky hops and husky grain. Those skunky hops come out again in the flavor, but there isn’t much in the way of a malt backbone. Similar to pilsner urquell, but not nearly as well balanced. Reminded me of Heineken.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 23, 2010 A thirst quencher of a pilsener. Available anywhere you can shake a stick at in Bratislava and Prague. Nothing really stands out with this one other than an nice balance of body and some sweet grassyness. I must admit tho, I drank a good many of them. 2010 update. After having two of these in quick succession yesterday, I came to the realization that this beer may just be the prettiest I’ve ever seen in the glass. Its so bright it nearly emanates light on its own. Hops are subdued and appear as if by magic on the tongue.

Courtesy G$ of KSS. Clear gold. 1cm dense, spongey white head. Nose of malted grain and corn. Flavor adds a bit of crisp hops and more corny grains. Light, balanced body. Bleh.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
50 cL bottle. Pours golden orange with small crispy head. Aroma is sweet malty, promising a sweet beer. Flavour is malty, rather dry leading into hoppy bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light clear gold pils into the flute. 2 finger rocky white cap decent retention for a commercial pils and left lacing on the glass sides.
Aroma was floral...wee bit of spice and earthiness...light dusty biscuit malts dominate.
Character...light to medium light hard mineral mouthfeel, metalic/ mineral quality to the chracter where it should be "spicy".
Profile: A tad sweet in the front but some good dryness from buiscuity malts and saaz hop "bite" soon prevails...mid palate things start to fall apart ..some mineral decernment dominate over the malts and hernal hops.. it’s metalic, iron, blood ( probably the water) starts riding with the medicinal hops to dry out the finish...however this is a concerning metalic-blood aftertaste that lingers...it shouldn’t
A decent enough pils..crisp clean but I dont care for this mineral/metallic taste.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours bright gold into a shaker. Bright white head subsides to skim surface. Malt and candy aromas. Crisp with bitter hops. Fairly quick in the finish.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 20, 2008 Nice white head that goes away pretty quickly. Aroma of nice floral hops mostly, with a tad bit of Moravian malt sweetness in their too. Nice. Flavour is almost identical to the aroma but with a tad bit more emphasis on the bitter Saaz hops. It’s my kind of Pils, in that the sweet, almost fruity malts prevent an overly-dry, hoppy finish and undertone to the beer. A very nice aftertaste of those pils malts, with a hint of Saaz. A decent one over-all IMHO, eminently drinkable, as a good pilsener should be. Worth a try if you’re into the Bohemian Pilsner, which I am. Don’t be put off by the low percentile.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught, at Crown Hotel, Bratislava, Slovakia.
Golden pilsner, served with a large bright shinny white head. Modest bitter aroma. Simple sugar flavours are just about held up by the bitterness. Narrow on the palate, with a short to moderate finish.
