50cl can. Pours clear golden colour with a mid sized good lasting white head. Aroma of grainy malt and mild spicy hops. Taste of sharp grainy malt, cereals, mild spicy hops, meh... Koelschtrinker (20379) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 4, 2011
Herrlich!

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2015 Can at HogTownHarry Fest 08. OK lager. Bit thin and horrible to be honest. But you know what? It’s a lager. 2/5. Bottle from a colleague at work. Clear gold lasting white head. Floral lemony aroma. Decent pilsner Czech style. Definite malty flavour. Some hop which could be more bitter and lemony on the finish, but it’s perfectly fine. Some sweetness from ABV rather than the clean 4% svetly. Fullness in the mouth. A malty Czech pilsner. It’s muted but totally fine. saxo (18288) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 26, 2006
Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma is both malt and hops. A short bitter finish. Oakes (17642) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 30, 2000
UPDATED: JAN 29, 2004 Deep gold colour, low visible carbo. Saazy, grassy aroma with bready malts underneath and a slight mineral note. Moderate bitterness with a hint of something iron/mineral/chalk - not entirely sure which but something alkalide anyway. Some grassiness. Finish starts wet, but dries out...and yes I know that sounds rather self-evident but I'm talking about the palate not the physical impression of liquid passing over your tongue then ceasing to do so.

Beautiful goldem with white head, lace. Strong hoppy Saaz-nose, slightly dunk. Flavor is more sweet malty than bitter hoppy. Medium-balanced body, bitter hops come in aftertaste. (4/3/6/3/11 2.7)
Re-rated, bottle (BB 07/2005, alc. 4.6%, label "Golden Pheasant Premium")
Lager color, creamy mostly vanishing white head. Fresh "Urquell"-nose when you open the bottle, then a bit metallic. Smooth malty palate with a good balance from hops. (7/2/6/4/13 3.2)
Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body topped by a finger thick off-white head leaving lacings. Pleasant grassy nose with a spiced hop touch. Malty base. It’s smooth and nicely carbonated, with some bitterness in the flavor. Grassy, fruity hops and a malty touch. Some bitterness in the end, a bit low levels. A nice and quite tasteful one, pleasant on the palate and quenching. 110304 jtclockwork (16561) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 9, 2010
Average pale golden pour in glass with thin head. Nose and taste of grass, pine and light spices. Rated 2/19/03 Dedollewaitor (16132) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2009

Slightly gingery lager aroma, some lemon. Similar taste, very lagery. Drying, slightly unpleasant palate, metallic. Some weetabix in the finish. Slimy. Not actually nasty, but not actually good.
Rerate: 500ml can (Stockmann, Tallinn) (6:2+:5:3-:10=2.6)
Sweet fruity citrussy aroma, a bit orangy ad lomony. Pale. Head settles slowl to a scummy ring. Fullish palate, but not as full as the Hacker-Pschorr Munich Gold we just had. Very simple czech style lager. A touch of ginger at times. But a bit boring. Finish only hs simply dry hops, dryness is refreshing. It’s surprisingly good for a macro lager. The nimbu masala test brings out only a hint of alcohol, and definitely no puke.
