Bottle from Joris. Just past its drink by a little. Dark brown with red tints and a low, fine head. Malty, wheaty, spicy nose, chocolate, bready, rye. Flavor is spicy grains, chocolate fudge, caramel, bread, and fruits. Raisin, plums. Quite complex, really. Finish is spicy, peppery, lightly bitter. Nicely malty and flavorful, and balanced as well. Very rich and bready and moreish. Good stuff!

Bottle. Pours dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of malt, apples, caramel. Taste is sweet, roasted malt, caramel, hints of honey. Brandman (2954) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 8, 2013
Dark brown body, offwhite head. Aroma has ryeish spices, sweet malt, fruity yeast and some butter. Flavour has grainy and sweet maltiness, some fruity yeast. Floury and round mouthfeel. JorisPPattyn (10026) - Ursel, BELGIUM - JUN 3, 2013
Small cream-coloured head, not very stable over chestnut-coloured clear beer. Greenery, leafy, coloured malts, some hop. Dry brown bread, moderate sweetness, finishes dry-bitter-leafy. Definitely other grains; very much as a German Dunkles. Warming up, sweetness becomes more prominent and sugary. Medium bodied at best, but quite gristslick. Leafy bitterness keeps lingering. Rather innovative and well-made - not what I’d suspect from a Heineken industrial subsidiary. Ďakujem, Peter a Michael! bartlebier (4032) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAY 24, 2013
33cl bottle, thanks Cuso. Again initially again thrown off course by the 15,2% indication, which fortunately turned out to be gravity, not ABV - which is not stated anywhere on the label, a SK/CZ peculiarity.

Pours a pleasant mahogany with impressive creamy-white lacing. Aroma and onset are the contained fruity malts of a Schwarzbier, rye spice kicking in after that, dry and lively yeast leaving a dry palate and not unpleasant old raisin and powder sugar aftertaste. Well quaffable.
Bottle thanks to Cuso. Pours a clear amber with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is bready malt rye and grain. Medium mouthfeel with sweet rye malt and light grain finish. Very good. bierkoning (13392) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - APR 5, 2013
Bottle from Cuso, thanks! Dark brown color. Toffee in the aroma. Malty sweet, caramelly flavor with rye bread. Roasty notes. Tasty in spite of the sweetness. teddybeer (3831) - Madrid, SPAIN - MAR 1, 2013
[Thanks to Cuso]. Bottled. Dark brown with minimal and quickly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is light sweet, toasty with hints of caramel. Flavor us mild sweet, nutty and toasted traces. MIld sweet final with a well compansated light bitterness. Quack-Duck (9486) - Down South, GERMANY - FEB 28, 2013
bottle, many thanks to cuso! Cloudy brownsih colour, mid-sized off-white head. Grainy malt flavours, wheat-like flavours with a nice yeasty touch that adds a touch of fruit. Good. douglas88 (9427) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 24, 2013
12 ounce bottle thanks to Santa. Pours a clear dark amber color with a small white head. A light nose of caramel and biscuit. Pretty basic: caramel, berries, smooth, some spices perhaps. I can see this as a Christmas beer.
