Dark red color, little beige lasting head. Mild chocolate, sweet aroma. Flavor starts with medium chocolate, ends with dry and roasted, lasting aftertaste. Some roasted tones in aroma too. Thin to medium body. Sticky palate in aftertaste. Werckmeister (3409) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - DEC 22, 2014
on tap at Slovak pub. black color, coffee colored head. smells malty, of coffee and caramel. medium body, light smoky taste, well balanced sweet and bitterness, light taste of coffee. smooth drinking. DeanF (2529) - Quebec, CANADA - JUN 1, 2010
Smells of barley and corn. Has a decent amber-black appearance. Taste is thick barley and coffee, but sadly it lacks complexity. Decent though, an average darker beer. craftycarl21 (2338) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 7, 2011
Tap at Klub Arkitektu restaurant in Prague. My first Slovak beer. Dark chestnut pour with a frothy head. Nose of subtle grain and caramel. Flavor holds fruity and sweet malt with a touch of rye-like grain. Decent. mgajdaczewa (2308) - Katowice, POLAND - AUG 27, 2014
W aromacie głównie palone słody, karmel i czekolada, niezbyt silnie. W smaku wytrawne, woda z czekoladą, choć skontrowana wyraźnie zaznaczoną goryczką. Niemniej jednak wielkiej radości z picia nie doświadczam.

Dark brown color, discreetly fizzy and with good head of discreet resistance. Pleasant aroma of braced malt, resin, alcohol, dampen wood. Much lively and bitterish taste, pleasantly balanced with lively body and refreshing final.
Black. Small head. Sweet and malty. A great beer with perfect balance. Nice bitter sweet finish. Toffee notes all over! coldbrewky (1731) - Hippetown East, New York, USA - JUN 17, 2007
Great on the train with some cheese and dark bread. My cousins thought that I was crazy going shopping for beers the day before we left Bratislava but I was not about to pay train prices for drinks on a 5.5 hour train jaunt. Glad I grabbed four of these. For a darker brew this one still had that lighter body. Maybe I am refering to this due to the fact that I have been drinking my share of impy stouts in the last weeks. Dark lager with a nice reddish tinge and a light brown dense foam. The aroma is dominated by caramel, coffee and roasted malt.
The taste is slightly sweet and toasted with a little hint of caramel. The finish is good hoppy and helps to make the beer easy-drinking. Its light body and low carbonation makes it very tasteful.
