Decent light beer. Nice head, slightly fizzy, bitter at times. Go for a Sibirskaya Korona instead.

pilsnerrogge (2945) - Finspång, SWEDEN - SEP 16, 2007
Draught @ Hotel Azimut, St. Petersburg
Yellow colour. Creamy head. Peculiar vanilla ice cream aroma. Thin and over carbonated with a dry, grassy bitterness

DandyWolfFloyd (1202) - Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 25, 2008
Aroma is faint, with a bit of mild hops. It’s appearance is a golden color. It’s flavor is a nice balance between malts and mild hops. It’s very smooth. A nice session.

larsga (7539) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 11, 2012
Medium white head. Clear deep yellow body. Mealy malty grassy aroma with fruity notes. Dry-sweet malty papery taste with grassy fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry resiny grassy taste with dandelion and flour notes. Mealy flavour lingers. Not bad, but a bit harsh and mealy. (0.5l bottle from a street kiosk in Moscow.)

bierkoning (13349) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - MAR 3, 2004
Golden color, head vanishes almost immediately. Slight grainy apple aroma and flavor. Banana. Fairly clean palate, but no specific aftertaste. Medium to full bodied.

2.4
Zarkam (539) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 12, 2013
500ml bottle from hypermarket near Vyborg, 5.2% abv. A hint of basement aromas upon opening the bottle. Clear golden colour, small white head. Aroma of bread, hay, cereal and some hints of floral hops and resin, very balanced taste and mellow bitter finish, medium body. Fairly European-style basic lager, not that common in Russia as they tend to be sweeter. Nothing particularly wrong, probably useful if intending to be somewhat drunk the entire day in Summertime.

2.4
GIJOE (1204) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Pours a pale amber color with a frothy white head that dissipates quickly. Nose is lightly malty with a hunt of corn. Taste is somewhat sweet and uninteresting. Thin body, mild carbonation. Sort of astringent finish. Tolerable beer.

swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - FEB 25, 2014
