Great long lasting dense head from this brown beer. The flavour and aroma is prodominently mildly coffee, and a lot harsher than a dunkel. A great russian beer.

Clear redish copper with quickly dissapearing light brown foam head. Aroma is almost non existing, barley. Taste is OK, barley, some caramel, some hay. Little bitter aftertaste. (Moscow 201401)

Eructoblaster (4330) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 8, 2008
Bottle - 500ml. Amber body with diminishing white foamy head. Fair malty aroma with hoppy and brown sugar notes. Taste carries some sweet and alcohol hints. It ends with a short bittersweet finish. Boring.

3.4
rauchbier (3928) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2003
Bottled. Deep bronze with a good rocky cream coloured head. Though it was going to be a dunkle style but more of a spicy Vienna or märzen. Lemony citric aromas along with malt and a suggestion of coconut that follows through into the mouth with a spicy maltiness. Sweet chewy malty and alcoholic finish.

0.5L bottle, medium lasting beige head with some lacing, clear, deep but not dark brown colour, strong caramel aroma with some dried fruits, flavour of caramel and dried fruits with notes of cheap brandy, alcohol strong and overwhelming adding an unwelcome bitterness. Could have been nice with less alcohol.
