Bottled. Enjoyed from a used tea cup in Novosibirsk, Russia.
Clear, deep amber color, with small off-white head with short retension.
Malty sweet aroma, with a hint of alcohol.
Flavor is fruity (apple, banana?), caramelly sweet malts, with a hoppy alcoholic tang in the fairly long finish.
Not terribly exciting, but enjoyable enough, and the alcohol makes the flavour appreciatively rich. The carbonation is certainly a bit heavy though, but the same goes for most russian beers in my opinion. Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - MAR 16, 2010
Clear amber of color with an off white head. An aroma of hops, caramel, weak apples, weak bread. A flavor of toffee, caramel, malt, weak hops. crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 28, 2017
500 ml impressively embossed twist-off bottle. It pours an amber color, reminds me of a typical Russian "malt liquor" decent to start but at it warms gets pretty gross. Boystout (1000) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - SEP 30, 2003
Deep amber color, light thin head. Some sweet maltiness and a touch of alcohol in the palate. Ernest (7696) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 27, 2004
Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium amber. Aroma is moderately malty (grain, bread, caramel), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a light note of solvent. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation, lightly alcoholic. A step up from the Klassic (better aroma for sure), but still industrial, grainy, and fizzy.

Die Schaumkrone hält mittelmäßig. Es schmeckt leicht alkoholisch, mild, etwas süßlich. Einfaches, flaches und mildes, typisches stärkeres aus Russland.

500ml bottle. Clear redish amber color. Small white head, stays. Malty, papery, sweet notes in aroma. Alcohol, very malty, grainy flavor. Slightly papery aftertaste. Medium bitterness. Just purely to enjoy that bitter aftertaste I could have another one. MrGrigg182 (476) - Tambov, RUSSIA - OCT 23, 2014
