Typical Belgian brown beer. Yeasty and quite malty, with the usual fruits and herbs. It’s nice and enjoyable, but far from original. Zita (6325) - Assentoft, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2014

33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. BBF 04/09/2014. Dark brown, slight ruby hue, small off-white head. Sweet caramel, thick dark fruits, candy sugar, slight liquorish, sweet spices, very sweet, liquid brown sugar caramel malts smell overall. Taste is dried dark fruits, cocoa powder & chocolate, very sweet caramel & toffee malts, light coffee & oodles of melted candy sugar, Oily, caramel malts but not thick or anything mouthfeel. Makes me think more of a light Barley Wine than a BSDA. This should be rated higher & better known, really good stuff. Sten (752) - Westerlo, BELGIUM - AUG 25, 2013
