Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours an unclear, amber body and a dense, finger-thick off-white to beige head. Cardamom, dried fruits and caramel on the nose. Lightly roasted too. The flavor is sweet, yet it feels dry on the palate, full-bodied and a bit heavy on the carbonation. Cardamom, or maybe cinnamon, caramel and dried fruits too. Spiced, fruity and caramel-ish finish. A quite decent one. 110819

Bottle under the name Zonderik Dubbel Bruin. Poured out into its goblet, showing a beautiful brown colour with a nice head on top. Aroma of wood and dark fruits. Easy palate with a nice soft flavour that is well balanced. Wood flavours alongside some bitterness. Intersting.

bouteille 33cl as Dubbel Donker.

Probably this one at the Fiere Margriet in Leuven, thanks Plavec! Dark red body, sticky sweet honey in the nose. Chalky too. Honey and malt in the taste, fruit, creamy, slightly spicy, no bitterness, interesting. Slightly unbalanced though.
