Slightly hazy medium amber color, one finger frothy off-white head, recedes slowly to thin layer, lively carbonation; fresh nose, aroma sweet malty, fruity, spices (coriander, caraway), yeast, citrus; moderate fruity sweetness, slightly bitter; full body, alcohol well hidden, oily texture; lingering mild bittersweet finish, more dry spicy bitterness towards the end. eManu (547) - Kuala Lumpur & Brussels, BELGIUM - FEB 14, 2014
Thanks to Gunther for this bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a nice big off white creamy head. Aroma of nice malts and citrus fruits. Tastes is very complex and fruity, nice malts, citrus, some grapefruits, even some hints of coconuts and vanilla. Very strong flavors, very pleasant with long lasting taste in mouth. Good medium carbonation, slightly sweet but bitter in the same time. well balance. Creamy in mouth and full body. I love this beer. I would want more, highly recommended! Expiration date of 16/12/12. Clear golden, beige head. Nose: malts, rich on spices (coriander, vanilla) and sugarish. Has in the back a bit of carbon board (karton but this is due to the aging. Taste: spices, white wine/grapes, marzipan. Creamy, sweet finish but with some hope bitterness in the back. the 10% alcohol is well hidden in this one. beer is most about spices, while this is balanced, might get boring after a while. Although expiration date has passed with one year, the beer does not feel or taste "old". Even more, pretty much in line with how I had it before and remembered accordingly. Good beer !! 77ships (10455) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 15, 2013
33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. BBF 04/09/2014. This is a tripel according to the bottle. Pours amber golden, clear, creamy white head. Nose is sweet, thick white sugar, white grapes, sweet white grapes, white glazing, liqueur, cake, honey, very sweet BE yeast, white cupcakes, very pleasing smell. Tastes of honey, white grapes, thick white sugar, light condensed milk, cupcakes, clear alcohol, kumquat liqueur, bit obscured by a less interesting floral & BE yeast profile. Slightly oily, sugary, decent carb. Bit warming, quite a unique & interesting taste profile, not optimal but still very pleasing. Be sure to let this beer warm up.

Cloudy dark amber color, compact head. Some aroma of malt and bourbon. Good body strength, smooth mouthfeel, sweet malt flavor, nice bourbon oak character. Low bitterness, and some alcohol.
Bottle 33 cl from Willems - Grobbendonk (B). Amber beer with nice off-white head, sticking to the glass. Sweet nose with bitterness of spices, obvious notes of cumin and caraway, pencil shavings. The taste is bitter-sweet, full of candi, coriander, cumin, almond, leather, wood and honey. The aftertaste always reveals honey, spices and wood. Hoppy bitterness well present.
