Pours a hazy golden yellow color. Aromas of yeast, some fruit and spice. Taste is yeasty and spicy, can really taste the alcohol in this one. vickey9 (999) - Brussels, BELGIUM - AUG 20, 2011

Great! I had a feeling of a honey and coconat touch! Hazy amber, white head, robust body with a distinctive alcoholic foretaste, anyway hoppy and so coconat aroma in nose. Anyway hints of nuts, seeds and spices like coriander, cherries in chocolate, honey and dry hoppy cake on palate. Nice nutty long pleasant finish, wow! [email protected]
33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. BBF 04/09/2014. This is a tripel according to the bottle. Pours amber golden, clear, creamy white head. Nose is sweet, thick white sugar, white grapes, sweet white grapes, white glazing, liqueur, cake, honey, very sweet BE yeast, white cupcakes, very pleasing smell. Tastes of honey, white grapes, thick white sugar, light condensed milk, cupcakes, clear alcohol, kumquat liqueur, bit obscured by a less interesting floral & BE yeast profile. Slightly oily, sugary, decent carb. Bit warming, quite a unique & interesting taste profile, not optimal but still very pleasing. Be sure to let this beer warm up. Oranje geel bier met veel stevig schuim. Smaak is krachtig, zoet en kruidig met iets van ananas, honing, zoet fruit en kaneel. JorisPPattyn (9927) - Ursel, BELGIUM - DEC 12, 2010
Yellowish, dense & very even head over amber-orange beer with fine pearling. White candi sugar or oxydized honey and a light-sweetish aroma as from a fine liqueur, then a mix of old wood and preserved citrus. And if I didn’t know better, I’d hazard Brettanomyces. Ends on Leidse, hard cheese spiced with cumin. Taste is sweet, alcoholic, and has a background of fine bitterish spicing, that is near exotic: ginseng, carraway, cumin, ginger, but finely balanced. Vinous, liqueurish and excellent. Well-carbonated, slight viscous-oily MF, alcoholwarming, adn at least medium-bodied. One thing: it’s too sweet, too spiced and not enough attenuated to be called a tripel. As a strong Belgian blond ale, it’s a monument. Dirk, this one deserves to become a classic!!

Good medium carbonation, slightly sweet but bitter in the same time. well balance. Creamy in mouth and full body. I love this beer. I would want more, highly recommended! Molto molto buona: ovviamente sullo stile Tripple Belga ma con un tocco dolciastro e delicato in più. L’alcool si sente pochissimo.
Etichtta molto carina. Ober (2812) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - DEC 4, 2010
