COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

kermis (13482) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 1, 2017
Bottle shared at Cafe Brecht, Amsterdam. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grain, malt, light yeast notes, caramel and light fruits. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

blackisle (2588) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - DEC 19, 2016
Bottle 50cl. poured into a lager glass. Clear medium golden, small yet steady frothy white head, fair lacing; aroma malts, grain, vegetables, hay; taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grainy, light caramel; aftertaste as in taste; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; easy to drink but rather dull.

BlackHaddock (7346) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - DEC 15, 2016
500ml bottle at home on 13th Dec 2016: BBD of bottle 26th Jul 17, bought from Beers of Europe. Golden pour, white head. Grainy and semi-sweet throughout. Very similar to a number of Bavarian Fest/Winter brews and could have been from almost any brewery in the region. Easy to drink and certainly not offencive, just a bit ’samey’ and unadventurous: nothing to make it stand apart from other beers in this style.

WillemsUrenkel (1877) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - DEC 23, 2015
0,5 l bottle bought at Brause Syndikat, BI. New decent good looking label. Clear dark golden with a mighty off white head in the glass. Low malty on the nose with a litttle bit sweetness. Smooth taste, some malt with fruity sourness, nuts. Low bitterness, mid carbonation. Okay.

MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2015
Bottle, 5.8%. Ashy aroma. Clear shiny yellow colour. Big stable chalk white head. The flavour is malty, slightly vinous. Has a little citric note as if slightly unclean. Perhaps just a vinous finish.

Bamsen78 (5403) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2015
Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and fart, with estery and hoppy notes. Sweetish, malty and estery flavour with botter notes of hops and faint hints of citrus. Yeast and paper in the aftertaste. Well-balanced and easily drinkable but not quite my type.

martin00sr (4044) - Haderslev, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2015
Clear golden, fluffy white head. Malty, light spicy aroma. Similar flavour with light, sweetish breadiness.

Bottle Oro schiuma media non molto persistente naso piuttosto maltato leggero vegetale amaro medio lieve note di caramello

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 22, 2014
courtesy of Philipp and Thomas - clear bronze beer with a modest foam left; grainy aroma with weird notes of vegetables (pumpkin ?); sweet malt body, quite full; residual sweetness (brown sugar-like) and more corny and flowery notes in the finish - cheap stuff
