COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

500 ml bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of carmel, toasted malt, tobacco and dark bread. Palate was medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of toasted malt, carmel, dark bread and light tobacco with a crisp lingering dark bread finish.

Bottle, bought @ SKY, Süderlügum.
Pours clear brown chestnut with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has good liqourice, mild roasted, some plums. Medium carbonation, fine creamy and kinda grainy dry mouthfeel. Flavour has good liqourice, nuts, some roasted malts. Fine grainy and light grassy bitterness. Elegant, simple and well made.

mcdav2154 (449) - GERMANY - DEC 10, 2011
Looks like a normal dunkel but very small head. No lacing. Smell of caramel, nuts, and basement. Taste is high in malt with a low hop finish. Low in carbonation. Palate is mild in cream and some zestiness. One of the better dunkels i’ve had.

2.8
Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 24, 2011
courtesy of fiulijn - clear dark ruby-brown colour with a little beige foam left; some toasted maltiness with hints of cola; medium-bodied, some tartness and pretty sweet, no bitterness and a moderate malty finish - shy

Hermod (7879) - Vantaa, FINLAND - OCT 9, 2011
50cl bottle from Bierzwerg. Poured brown with a white head. Rye bread aroma, some caramel. Flavor similar, rye bread and some roasted notes. Smooth palate with some caramel in a long finish. Quite nice.

Kriegbaum (845) - Randers, DENMARK - AUG 28, 2011
Bottle 50 cl. Slightly hazy dark amber color with an off white head. Light malty aroma with notes of hops. The taste follows the nose. Slightly bitter finish

2.8
rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 26, 2011
Bottled. Clear brown colour with low white foam. Aroma from chocolate, sweet milk and caramel. Body is light, with light chocolate, sweet milk, suggestions of green pepper along with tad sewer. Pretty un-sweet for the style yet reminiscent of a milk stout with its blend of sweet and toast. Unexciting beer but pretty solid.

2.9
ElDesmadre (3627) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUN 21, 2011
Bottle. Moderate brown with quickly disappearing head. Aroma is quite mild - moderately roasted malt, caramel, some milk chocolate and faint piney hops. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate and caramel, some aroma hops but almost no bitterness. Very mild beer overall and a bit boring, yet solid.
