COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

emacgee (4704) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - MAY 5, 2009
Pours a dark copper with some ruby highlights. The head is one finger thick and offwhite. The nose is earthy, lagery, malty, bready for sure, sweet, caramel, a tad nutty. The flavor is malty, kind of sweet, caramel, nutty. Tastes like an English Brown lagered.

The aroma is malty with caramel, toffee, cereal, and light hops. The appearance is medium brown with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall i like it.

330ml bottle. Medium brown pour with an off white head. nicely toasted grain aroma gives this beer a light chocolate smell. Tasty toasted malt flavor. Very rich malt character. Sweet malt, well aged fermentation. easy drinker, good quality.

Grovlam (4252) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2007
Bottle. [Courtesy of Hildigöltur, Thanks Jacob] Small beige fizzy head that mostly diminished. Clear flat light mahogany color. Aroma of bread, grain, fruit, floral and toasted malt. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet malty flavor. Bread like sweet lingering finish. What a nice and drinkable beer. 27-07-07

BillKismet (4111) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 28, 2008
Brown amber with a thin froth cover. Easy malt ball aroma with some light roastiness translates to a similar flavor profile with some additional toastiness. Barely medium-bodied. May have appeal to crossover macro brew drinkers with its easy-bodied and toastiness.

Butters (4063) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUL 10, 2008
Shared with maniac and maltdawg. Pours a dark brown with ruby highlights and tan head. Vegetal, some smoke, and malty. Thin bodied, but pleasant. Not bad, but nothing special.

TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAR 29, 2009
Bottle. Brown with no head. Nose is very malty. Flavor is equally malty. Didn’t get much of the chocolate others mention. Just lots of malt. Easy drinking, but not my style.

zach8270 (4021) - Henrietta, New York, USA - OCT 26, 2009
(bottle - 330 ml) Clear amber pour with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, and a light nutty hint. Flavor is lightly toasted at the beginning with a lightly nutty caramel followup. Middle has some lightly roasted coffee notes. Finishes dry and lightly bitter with a mild lingering nut flavor.

2.8
rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 26, 2011
Bottled. Clear brown colour with low white foam. Aroma from chocolate, sweet milk and caramel. Body is light, with light chocolate, sweet milk, suggestions of green pepper along with tad sewer. Pretty un-sweet for the style yet reminiscent of a milk stout with its blend of sweet and toast. Unexciting beer but pretty solid.

3.7
maniac (3800) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 25, 2008
Bottle on 06/25/08. Clear dark amber / brown body with a medium creamy tan head. Sweet nutty and bready aroma with some spicy hints. More nutty flavor and toasty breadiness with light dry bitterness in the finish. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.
