0,5 l. bottle, 3,8 % abv. Very dark red-brown colour with a small, tanned head that faded fast. Aroma with bread, light toasted, tobacco and a nutty note. Taste is light sweet. Light body with a creamy texture. Fizzy carbonated - looked like a cola when poured. Short finish with a roasted, nutty note. Nice beer with a low alcohol %, which gives extra credit from me. ganache (5905) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 28, 2012
This bottle of Zubr Schwarz from a Kaiser’s, and 4.6%, MHD 01.08.12. Not sure how, in the land of the historical Reinheitsgebot and matching attitudes [though I guess Berlin was never really a fan of the law], the appropriate authorities can even consider importing something listing "Zuckercouleur" as an ingredient. Nose full of nice roast, relatively little sweetness. Pours a dark mahogany with a soapy tan head. Taste is lightly sweet, medially bitter, and bracingly artificial. Light nuts, strong roast, dry aftertaste, medium body, and some real nastiness here.

Pours dark golden, pale brown head. Aromas of syrup, caramel and grainy malts. Smooth taste but weak body. Sweet and sticky with vegetables notes. Some nuttiness towards the end. Finishes lightly bitter.
Mörkt brun öl med moccafärgat skum. Doft av malt och lätt rostade toner. Detsamma går igen i smaken. Lite för lite av allting. Det finns mycket bättre tjecker i klassen. Camons (12450) - Hasselager, DENMARK - AUG 4, 2011
