larsga (7539) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 30, 2006
Big beige head over deep dark red body. Milky, slightly rubbery aroma with velvety, lightly roasted notes. Taste is sweetish raspberry-like roasted malt, a tad watery. Aftertaste is burnt, chalky, and somewhat bitter. Not bad, but nothing too exciting, either. (0.5l bottle.) larsniclas (7066) - Billdal, SWEDEN - SEP 22, 2003
Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2003.Very dark with a beautiful head.
Some fresh hoparoma, but mostly sweet and burnt.
Really fresh to be that dark with a smooth palate.
Sweetish flavour and hints of some caramel. ekstedt (6772) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 10, 2007
Bottle. Dark brown with hint of red, medium sized beige head. Quite plain malt aroma with some coffee and syrup. medium bodied. Sweet and one-dimesional flavour. This is not a vienna imo, but a dunkel, and far from a good one. zvikar (6149) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - JUN 15, 2015

Emil (6065) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 4, 2007
Bottle. Dark brown colour with a big beige head. Light carboard aroma with some corn. The taste is a little roasted with corn and fruits. Medium body with a light sweet roasted finish. ganache (5893) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 28, 2012
This bottle of Zubr Schwarz from a Kaiser’s, and 4.6%, MHD 01.08.12. Not sure how, in the land of the historical Reinheitsgebot and matching attitudes [though I guess Berlin was never really a fan of the law], the appropriate authorities can even consider importing something listing "Zuckercouleur" as an ingredient. Nose full of nice roast, relatively little sweetness. Pours a dark mahogany with a soapy tan head. Taste is lightly sweet, medially bitter, and bracingly artificial. Light nuts, strong roast, dry aftertaste, medium body, and some real nastiness here. Marko (5682) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - JAN 29, 2011
0.5l bottle (3.8%, 9.99°) courtesy of ogivlado who shared it with me and heavy (thanks!)duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2004
Poured a dark cola colour with a slightly off white thick head. Dusty, heavy nose of coffee and milk caramel. The taste is nice and coffeeish, somewat dusty, underlying (something). All in all a very nice dunkel that I enjoyed after a row of so and so beers that day.
Bottle. Pretty light, but its OK, some licorice and roasted malt, easy drinking, soft and innofensive, quite malty and soft. Bragesnak (5394) - Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 15, 2012
Bierfass, Aarhus, DK.
Brown with off-white head. Aroma of malt. Flavour with some roasted malt.
