Bottle, at home (4,1%) Dark bown with a large, beige head, mostly diminishing, modest lacings. Aroma moderate malty(roasted, coffee, chocolate, licorice) and light hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet, light bitter. Light body, watery, soft carbonated.

sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 20, 2004
(Tapped) Dark reddish color with a large head. Faint, earthy aroma with some roasted malt. Sweet, caramel-syrupy oatmeal-porridge flavor. Light to medium-bodied, sugary and low-carbonated palate. A good looking dunkel, but unfortunately spoiled with excess sweetness for the quite watery body. Not well-balanced.

0,5 l. bottle, 3,8 % abv. Very dark red-brown colour with a small, tanned head that faded fast. Aroma with bread, light toasted, tobacco and a nutty note. Taste is light sweet. Light body with a creamy texture. Fizzy carbonated - looked like a cola when poured. Short finish with a roasted, nutty note. Nice beer with a low alcohol %, which gives extra credit from me.

Bottled. Sampled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Dark brown with a rich head. Sweetish caramel aroma and flavour.

tomer (3710) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - OCT 5, 2013
Bottle, small stable bubbley head, very dark brown to black colour, aroma of dark bread, some barnyard notes and hints of coffee and something charred, flavour of sourdough dark bread and burned sugar, with a strong, mellow and slightly charred bitterness, light sweetness creeping as the beer warms up a bit.. Nice pleasant dunkel.
