tomer (3521) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - OCT 5, 2013
Bottle, small stable bubbley head, very dark brown to black colour, aroma of dark bread, some barnyard notes and hints of coffee and something charred, flavour of sourdough dark bread and burned sugar, with a strong, mellow and slightly charred bitterness, light sweetness creeping as the beer warms up a bit.. Nice pleasant dunkel.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 18, 2005
Black colored, medium beige head. Strong coffee in aroma, sweetness too with some chocolate and licorice. Thin to medium bodied. Coffee, mild chocolate and roasted flavor, soft flavor and mouthfeel. Mediumn dry ending.

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 10, 2012
Head is stable, body black. It smells roasty, maltaromatic. The taste is malty, sweet, sugary, roastaromatic, roasty. Ok but a bit to sweet. 11/11/11/11/11/11

ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 10, 2003
Very dark brown with a nice frothy light brown head. sweet aroma of caramel, coffee and toffee. Sweet flavour of chocolate and toffee. Well, flavour is way too sweet overall.

MrOrla (3216) - Odense C, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2016
Sample @ carlsens. Pours hazy Brown with a white head. Aroma of sugar, malts, light grains, light saaz. Taste is rather sugary with loads of grain. Quite dusty.

pilsnerrogge (2948) - Finspång, SWEDEN - NOV 23, 2003
Dark brown colour with ruby highlights. Nice tan head. Ultra-smooth, creamy toffee-aroma with roasty/smokey notes, maybe there's some licorice-aroma as well. Light mouth-feel, roasty chocolate flavour. Tasty!

heavy (2817) - Split, CROATIA - FEB 10, 2011
23/01 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! 3,8% and definite schwarzbier not vienna! It poured very dark brown reddish body with small head. Coffee, caramel and heavily roasted malt in aroma. Flavor is also carried by coffee, hint of sweet chocolate, but also burnt and soaked tobacco which I couldn’t like here. Medium body, especially if you consider such low ABV, finish was now dominated by that tobacco, so quite unpleasant. I reckon, it’s quite quality little schwarzbier, but didn’t really fit me.

adamnowek (2727) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JUL 23, 2015
Reddish brown with a short white head. A slightly bitter tartness and malty taste. Slightly weird aftertaste.

Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - JUN 10, 2004
Brown reddish body with a medium tan head. Sweet aroma with tones of burned brown sugar and coffee. Also brown sugar in the flavor along with roasted malt. Very sweet and a little cloying.

NordicV (2347) - Malmö, Sweden, SWEDEN - NOV 14, 2011
Mörkt brun öl med moccafärgat skum. Doft av malt och lätt rostade toner. Detsamma går igen i smaken. Lite för lite av allting. Det finns mycket bättre tjecker i klassen.
