23/01 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! 3,8% and definite schwarzbier not vienna! It poured very dark brown reddish body with small head. Coffee, caramel and heavily roasted malt in aroma. Flavor is also carried by coffee, hint of sweet chocolate, but also burnt and soaked tobacco which I couldn’t like here. Medium body, especially if you consider such low ABV, finish was now dominated by that tobacco, so quite unpleasant. I reckon, it’s quite quality little schwarzbier, but didn’t really fit me.

Brown reddish body with a medium tan head. Sweet aroma with tones of burned brown sugar and coffee. Also brown sugar in the flavor along with roasted malt. Very sweet and a little cloying.

Mörkt brun öl med moccafärgat skum. Doft av malt och lätt rostade toner. Detsamma går igen i smaken. Lite för lite av allting. Det finns mycket bättre tjecker i klassen.

Bottle. Pours clear brown with a decent head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malts and coffee. Moderately sweet, with caramel, bread and malty notes, mild bitter finish. Light-bodied, watery texture. Drinkable.

500 ml bottle. Dark ruby red, almost black. Tall off-white head. Fine-laced at the top, but coarser at the bottom. Crystal clear. Soapy, raspberry/black currant aroma. Some richer malts in the background. Soft mellow roasted red berry flavours. Little bubbles and low carbonation makes the beer feel very smooth and very drinkable.

Zubr tumman sain kokea Kokkolan Wanhassa Lyhdyssä. Olut on tumman ruskea, lähes musta. Vaahto on beige ja niukka. Tuoksussa on karamellia, paahtunutta mallasta ja leipää. Maultaan olut taasen on hieman makea, viljainen, laktinen ja paahtunut. Hitusen humalointiakin tulee maussa esiin.

Bottle 330ml. 3.8%. Deep amber with quickly diminishing small beige head. Aroma of date honey, prune and carob. Sweetish flavor of prune and carob, hint of chocolate, some graininess, light citrusy sourness, a bit watery. Moderate carbonation, light to medium-bodied.
