Heavy malty aroma. Huge creamy light brown head. Excellent lasing. Mostly diminishing longevity. Black body hue. Moderate bitter smoked initial flavor. Oily texture. Marko (5928) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - JAN 29, 2011

Poured a dark cola colour with a slightly off white thick head. Dusty, heavy nose of coffee and milk caramel. The taste is nice and coffeeish, somewat dusty, underlying (something). All in all a very nice dunkel that I enjoyed after a row of so and so beers that day.
Beautifully clear dark mahogany with a nice beige head. Aroma of dark fruit, plums, some roast, a touch of chocolate, and some cherry. Taste has a pronounced coffee flavor accompanied by some chocolate and roast. Full and rich, but only about medium body. Second swallow highlights some more roast and ash notes.
The beer is very tasty, but the richness of it leaves you feeling full and not really looking for a second pint. This is basically a session sipping beer. :) Gr0ve (2176) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 2, 2006
500 ml bottle. Dark ruby red, almost black. Tall off-white head. Fine-laced at the top, but coarser at the bottom. Crystal clear. Soapy, raspberry/black currant aroma. Some richer malts in the background. Soft mellow roasted red berry flavours. Little bubbles and low carbonation makes the beer feel very smooth and very drinkable. nickel (1221) - UKRAINE - NOV 16, 2013
Deep dark color with brown head. Aroma and taste of caramel. Easy drinkable and refreshing. Regardless the absence of bitterness beer is pleasant.

The colour is clear, dark brown with a hint of red, just like Coca-Cola. The foam is impressive, large and brownish, it dissolves slowly into a small white ring.
A burned diacetyl-caramel note dominates the smell, but there are also hints of hops, coffee and some grass/straw.
The carbonation is medium strong with small, lasting bubbles. Fresh!
The taste got some pretty strong flavours of burned malt and diacetyl. The strong, somewhat dry bitterness fades into a mild maltiness with some notes of gravy. The aftertaste is surprisingly mild with a fine, malty bitterness that is accompanied by some sweetness and vegetable stock.
This is a really nice and powerful dark lager. I liked it! jacobwennbom (357) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - MAY 7, 2006
Traces of nuts and to some extent metall. Puors dark with small top. A bit watery and thin, for some reason that didn’t disturb me much. Enjoyable. Note: I am pretty sure this is the beer I am refering to, the alcohol level on the beer I drank is however 4.1% and not 4.4% FrankJohansen (3622) - Sabro, DENMARK - SEP 28, 2006

Bottle, small stable bubbley head, very dark brown to black colour, aroma of dark bread, some barnyard notes and hints of coffee and something charred, flavour of sourdough dark bread and burned sugar, with a strong, mellow and slightly charred bitterness, light sweetness creeping as the beer warms up a bit.. Nice pleasant dunkel. bobroman (1186) - Torun, POLAND - MAY 26, 2016
Tasted on 10.10.15. Pleasant aroma of malt and caramel with hints of roastiness and metal. Medium head disappearing to thin layer. Dark brown clear colour. Malts and caramel in taste. A bit watery and roasted.
