April 19 2012. 500ml Bottle pours clear amber yellow into pint glass with 1-2" white soapy head that quickly dissipates to ring. Minimal almost absent lacing. Aroma is of sweet grass and malt slight hops. Initially sweet malt in flavour but quickly chased away with hops to leave a balanced almost totally canceling flavour effect. Soft fluffy palate. Bottle is entertaining read. Typical polish lager -- that means very good. Digital_Aura (228) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 19, 2012
UPDATED: APR 20, 2012 500ml bottle. Orange-hued gold brew produces good but short lived head. (Lovibond 4). Good lace. Aroma is woody and grassy but fades with the head. Initial swig is amazingly tasty and pleasant. Good carbonation. Sweetness mellows to a more balanced taste halfway through. BlackHaddock (7956) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2012
In May 2011 I wrote this: This half litre brown bottle claims 6.00% ABV, obtained in London while visiting my son.
Poured into a ’paderborner Goldpilsner’ vase and a smaller Budweiser Budvar tasting glass.
Looked as good as any lager/pilsner when poured: good golden hue, large white head, clear and clean body.
Sweeter than most Eastern Block pilsners, in both smell and taste, almost pleasant! Certainly better than a few I’ve tasted over the years. I expected bog stanard Euro Fizz, but this a whole lot better than that, in all aspects.

Světle zlatá barva, čirá. Pěna řídká. Vůně velice příjemná chmelově ovocná. Chuť nasládlá kakaová. Subjektivně pivo chutná "lehčeji" než by mělo být dle obsahu alkoholu. Spíše méně hořké, se sladkými dozvuky. reebtogi (6403) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 12, 2012
500ml can pours a pale amber gold color with a small white head and no lacing. Aroma is light grains and floral and grassy hops. Taste is light caramel malty sweetness with a mildly pleasant hop bitterness in the finish. Overall, not a bad lager from a can.

Pours with a near-perfect head (doesn’t stay long enough) and a gold body with no visible carbonation. Soft wood and hops aroma. Flavour is heavy with caramel and a hoppy finish. Not bad balance for a lager, really, and I’d probably choose this one over a number of worse lagers out there. imdownthepub (15519) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2012
Tin, 500ml from Mace Supermarket, Banbury.. Yellow straw with fizzed white head. Never too proud to see what,s available in these little corner shops and I’m pleased to have spotted this one. Yes it has the wet cardboard CO2 kick, but once this is over, there is a sweetish, light beer with a light caramel body and a lemonade hint in the close. Not great but certainly drinkable. Originally rated September 2005. Best before 11/06/06 and bought at the LCBO. Labelled Zubr 1768 on the label and rated at 5.8% ABV. This Polish strong beer pours a golden colour with a touch of amber. The white head is bubbly and does not retain its shape too long. Patches of lacing are left though. The nose is pretty mild with small amount of hop (probably Saaz). Carbonation is very active with tiny bubbles. The taste has some bitterness to it from start to finish, but is mostly very smooth, just like its aftertaste. Slight grass and apples makes a comeback at the very end of its trail. Very, very smooth, with more grain malt then grass, which reminds me more of North American pils, then Euro pils. Good different Polish brew, but very smooth for a stronger one. yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 7, 2012
Can. It pours a clear, golden body under a finger-thick white head. Fruityness, grains and malty sweetness on the nose. Yellow apples and some pears. A hint of cooked vegetables. The flavor is on the fruity side, with some bitterness showing up towards the very end. A decent one, but not very interesting in any way. 120107 Ober (2811) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - DEC 9, 2011
Can. A clear yellow/golden colored beer, with a thick white head. The aroma of malts with some fruits. The taste is malty sweet with some bitter. The aftertaste is some sweet and a little bitter.
