500 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear gold with medium-sized white head. Pleasant bready aroma with a hint of floral hops. Taste is a little on the metallic side but with decent hop profile in finish. Not great but much better than most of the European lagers on offer at the LCBO. thorongil2 (3002) - , Ontario, CANADA - JUL 7, 2010
(bottle) clear dark golden colour with small white head; faint aroma of cereal and hops; clean balanced flavour with long faint malty finish; quite refreshing if cold enough evergreen0199 (3323) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 20, 2010
500ml can at a party in West London. I wouldn’t normally touch this kind of beer but a friend urged me to drink it. Golden coloured pour with a medium white head. Malty, hoppy aroma. Clear malty taste with a hint of hops, slightly fruity. Surprisingly drinkable Polish lager. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 6, 2010
Thanks Anja. It’s warm golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, light flower and straw. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, flower, light straw and a dry, light bitterness. It’s refreshing, and I wouldn’t have guessed it to be 6%. Pours an average pilsner yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is pleasant honey pilsner. Flavor is smooth, semi-sweet honey malt with a light, floral pilsner finish. Average mouthfeel. Not "zubr" but not bad. (har har)
Pours pale yellow in glass. Nose and taste of pale malts and slight hops. Rated 11/1/2000 charlotte (5356) - rødovre, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2010
660ml Bottle.Golden colour with small off white head.Aroma of metallic and grainy, guess like most polish beers boring and gassy with high carbonation. probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - APR 23, 2010
500 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass. TheHulk (486) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - APR 20, 2010
App.: Clear deep golden with a white rim.
Aroma: Grain and cereal with some light peppery, grassy hops, a little biscuit, fairly average but not bad.
Palate: Medium body and carbonation.
Flav.: Similar to the nose with a slightly more dank hop character, still fairly light and inoffensive; dry with a touch of bitterness and a light malty and minerally finish.
Smells a bit weak, strawish, just slightly malty. Yellow and a bit of lacing/head. Thinnish body, sweet. That’s it though, it’s pretty boring. A bit of bubbly on the tounge. Meh. I’d rather have P. Urquel of course, but this is just plain meh. Cole (967) - , Alberta, CANADA - APR 20, 2010
Golden pale yellow. Mild skunky aroma not much there. Malty flavour with a nice hoppy bite. Not bad for Euro Lager but I would rather have a Grolsch.
