500 ml gas station can. Dark golden color with little white head. Sweet malty aroma. Similar taste, ends bitter. Nothing to chase after.

This fine brew pours a pale golden color with a fluffy white head. Rather watery yet slightly malty aroma is crisp and light. The flavor is light and crisp with a malt note, and is slightly grainy. Palate is light, crisp, fairly carbonated, and bitter-sweet. Not the best premium lager that I’ve had and certainly not the worse. Very average.

Bottle 0.50L. Courtesy of Kita. Clear golden color with two fingers of frothy white head. Bready malty aroma with tiny note of caramel. Moderate bitter taste with a touch of burnt caramel. Medium body, soft carbonation, smooth texture. Nothing special, but still ok for what it is.

Cheap bottle from an LCBO store in London, Ont. Actually the experience was not as bad as the perceived value. Bad appearance, light golden with no lasting head. Aroma of malt, caramel and strawberry bubblegum. Flavours are the same, with that above-mentioned hoppiness, very feeble. High carbonation, with bubbles migrating to the sides of the mouth together with the grassy hoppiness, giving that stinging sensation just before the rather uninteresting finish. Initially, I expected that this would have that woodruff/Waldmeister flavour of sweet grass , but then I realised the beer was named after "bison" only, and not after "bison grass".

I tried this beer on June 26, 2007 after purchasing from my local LCBO store. This was This beer pours a translucent medium golden colour with a thick white head that lasts longer than 10 seconds. The aroma is both grainy and malty, a pleasant combination. It is crisp and clean on the mouth like a lot of European lagers with slight hints of carbonation. The taste is malty and slightly better. Another beer I would recommend.

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2007 A pretty typical premium lager the LCBO carries, that’s enjoyable, but somewhat indistinguishable from countless others (though there are a few gems within the selection). Still enjoyable though. Not a whole lot more to say about this one.

Clear golden color with white foam. Malty and grainy aroma. Sweet taste, with malts and hops prividing a bitter aftertaste. Refreshing. The colder, the better.

I guess it does a job. Bit flat, but refreshing and crisp. Could probably drink a fair few as its not too gassy
