Cloudy dark amber color; medium sized creamy head. The aroma has some caramel, malt, ashes and very light dirty water, also very light fruits. Good body structure; the mouthfeel is smooth; malt and caramel flavor, quite rich for this kind of beer; balanced and with correct bitterness. In the final there is an accent of roastiness and nuts, pleasant.
Maybe it lacks in freshness, but it’s enjoyable.

Hazy orange color, small creamy white head. Vegetably hoppy aroma. Flavor has also vegetables, hops and sweetish-honeyish notes. Dortmunder/helles???

Bottle 33 cl from Bierladen in Schwarzenburg (CH). Cloudy orange with beautiful white foam and the venting is fine but thick. Freshness on the hop, the malt and grapefruit. Good bitterness brings a deep sensation hops, notes of yeast and tobacco. The finish is very dry, bitter and persistent. For Switzerland, not the "consumer" kind and the label, of a distressing commonplace, does not give envy to try it.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Muddy pale orange, huge firm head. Fruity nose with melon and light strawberry esters. Sweet with fragile gentle crisp malt forming a light body. Good amounts of strawberry hops contribute with aroma and growing bitterness. Pleasant, quite rustic and unusual.

Embrouille (2848) - SWITZERLAND - NOV 22, 2009
Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Bov. It pours a hazy amber beer with a tall, nicely remaining lacing light beige head. Yeasty aroma with slightly unpleasant notes of naphtalin and paté which are accompanied by clove and cigarette smoke. The taste is a lot better. Subtle dry spicy finish which is reminiscent of clove. Thanks a lot Bov!

from Bierladen, Schwarzenburg - cloudy amber-orange colour with a huge pale beige foam; nice lacing, gentle aromatic hoppiness along with fair malty notes; good malt body and with a late but quite fair bitterness; dry and biscuity, earthy finish - very interesting
