A surprising Trappist from Zundert. Very nice nose and beautiful amber color. The taste itself doesnt fully deliver, making it a noteworthy new Trappist thats worth a try.

Bottle. Clear dark amber with medium beige head. Aroma of figs, dades, sweet bread and some brown sugar. Spicy taste, dark fruits, wheat, caramel, bread and some parfume. I find some similarities with strong belgian ale style. The dark fruits and the color too. Not a typical Triple in my opinion. I liked it - Good beer.

Ambre orange trouble, notes malt et caramel lger, fruits jaunes mrs et fruits secs, douce, trs bien quilibre, trs bonne. Peut-tre trop peu caractrielle et singulire. Bouteille 33cl bue au bar La Tte lenvers, Vincennes, France, le 06/12/2016.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber to copper colour with a loose and tanned foamy head. Aroma of caramel and dried fruits with mildly yeasty and hoppy spice. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly yeasty cara-malty taste with hints of dried fruits and delicately minty notes; moderately sweet malty and delicately hop bitter finish with notes of caramel. The alcohol is dangerously muted. 01.XII.16

Moutig met toetsen van donker fruit. Licht bittere afdronk. Zeer evenwichtig met aangenaam, zacht mondgevoel. Karaktervol met gelukkig nauwelijks waarneembare alcohol. Een waardige trappist.

330 ml bottle. Clear, dark golden body with a nice, dense off-white head. Aroma has malt, caramel, candy sugar and hint of dry fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, brown sugar, caramel and some dry fruit. Medium plus body and sweet aftertaste. Very sweet and less complex than the classic trappist.

Opague amber with medium cream head, which obscures most of the aroma. Malty, rich, and sweet, with a bit of candied fruit flavor. Thick bodied. Not bad!
