Bottle 50 cl. Pale golden color with good white foam. Aroma: malt, grassy hops and a little fruity. Taste: light, a little watery, soft hop and malt, very drinkable. DYCSoccer17 (3698) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 18, 2015
500mL bottle purchased at Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa. Best by May 2015, so it’s probably 6 months old. Aroma has some metallic, sweet, corny DMS notes. There is a light mineral quality present. Hops might be grassy, but very faint. Transparent pale yellow body with a medium, very rapidly dissipating white head present, Starts with some biscuit malt sweetness, before some DMS corn comes through in the middle. Finishes with a little minerality. Meh. ordybill (1758) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - MAY 2, 2015
Poured from a 500 ML bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Big malt and fruit smell.
Appearance- Pours a crystal clear gold color with a thick white head.
Taste- Malt and bread flavor with spices and hops, real good combo.
Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation.
Overall- A real good beer, definitely give it a try.

Has the same pale lagery aroma that previous kolsches have had, but this has way more fruity esters. Ditto in the taste. Palate a little thin, carbonation high. Finish bready, estery, some slightly extracty hops. Yup, this is a style that’s best fresh and close to the source.
Keg at Piccadilly Tap, Manchester. Clear golden shade. Patches of white head atop. Aroma and taste consist of lemon, honey and breadiness. There is however a slight chemical note which detracts from both. Decent enough even if I’m not a huge fan of this style.

Bottle. Bready aroma with some floral notes. On the palate it is sweet, but I pick up cardboard (slightly oxidized). Cornfield (5570) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - DEC 16, 2014
It’s been a while since I’ve had a Kölsch, and I hope I can find it on the site. The very stylized calligraphy on the bottle makes it difficult to tell if the first letter is a Z or a J and the fourth letter may be an F or an S. Anywhat - Nice pour, a clear golden yellow body with a creamy white head. The aroma is light grasses over a softly sweet graininess, which pretty much describes the flavor as well. Light and refreshing, this would be dandy to drink in much warmer weather than what I’m experiencing now. solidfunk (8964) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - NOV 28, 2014
Decent drinkability and light German hops. Pours golden with OK head and lacing. Finishes with a touch of hops and some sweet malt. Easy drankin. Bottle I bought to drink with non craft beer enthusiasts. Rulymel (294) - SPAIN - NOV 13, 2014
Golden clear colour with a thin white head.
Aroma is sweet malts and light herbal and fruity notes.
Taste is fresh, sweet cereal as lightly honey. Light hop touch.
Light body. Dry finish. Easy to drink. Christos (5785) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - NOV 12, 2014
(Zunft Kölsch) Bottle 500 ml at home, served into a kolsch glass, ABV 4.8%
Golden yellow colour on the body, small frothy white head, with okay retention, light lacing on the glass.
Sweet but refreshing aroma, fresh grass and a bit of lemon.
Taste also has lemon notes, malts, straw.
Thin body, average carbonation.
Overall okay, good thirst quencher.
