COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Kölsch-Stange bemerkbar. Ein unterschätztes Kölsch! Test vom 17.3.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,8,12,10,10,10 - 10,10

Average color, short instabile head. Tast. Is too sparkling and unfortunatelly there is a bad untasty aftertaste. Not the best Kölsch...

rand (1700) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 30, 2012
Bottle 33 cl from JUM. Blonde with greenish reflections, short white head. Aromas of hay, a little fruity and grassy. The taste is slight, with lemon, cereals and a little citrus, mostly in finale. Easy to drink, bitterness in the corners, fruity and mildness of wheat.

Pours a crystal clear gold with a small white ring. Aroma is grassy, corn grains and slight lemon zest. Taste is bright, light zest with grassy grains. Not as good as some other Kolsch I’ve had here.

Comes out of the tap a beautiful clear golden amber with a thick, fine-bubbled off-white head. Aroma is not strong but fruity, rather sweet and a bit malty. Flavor has a strong apple overtone, rather like applesauce or cider, with hoppy and malty hints. Texture has decent, if average, body and fizz. Overall, not great but worthy of a try. Happy Oktoberfest!
